Retreat From Battle! Pudd's new personality

Birusu is laughing. "I don't care what fighting position you take! My technology will beat it. From guns to grenade launchers to knives to even arrows." Birusu tells Pudd confidently. Birusu gains a sadistic smile on her face once again. "You stand no chance. Not a chance in hell." Birusu thinks to himself. Pudd with his hand still raised and Cynthia still in his weaken hand looks at Cynthia. "I hope you can take a bullet." Pudd says. Neiya hears this and her eyes grows bigger as she became flabbergasted. Pudd runs towards Birusu who proceeds to shoot fully automatic bullets. Pudd manages to dodge so of the bullets and use Cynthia as a shield for the bullets he can't dodge. The bullets don't impale Cynthia but scraps her arm and legs. Despite the spikes piercing her skin Neiya tries to get out. "You bastard! What the hell you think you're doing!? You're going to get her killed!". Neiya gets a huge vein on her forehead as the spikes push further and further into her skin. Blood gashes out onto the car.

Birusu continues to shoot with a smile on his face. Not paying attention he doesn't realize the scouter reads "Overload. Needs to Cool off". Birusu bullets stop shooting and Birusu looks at both of his arms. "Hey! These bullets should never run out!" Birusu loudly screams. "Now my chance" Pudd thinks to himself. He proceeds to throw Cynthia onto the ground and runs towards Birusu reaching his hand to grab the scouter. "Hey give that back!" Birusu as he tries to punch Pudd. Pudd blocks the punch with his good hand and shruggs Birusu onto the ground. Pudd puts the scouter around his eye and tells to the scouter to remove all battle equipment. This changes Birusu arms from guns to regular robotic arms and releases Neiya from the spikes. Pudd throws the scouter to Birusu. "Here you go. This belongs to you." Pudd said. Birusu in shock mixed with fear ask Pudd why didn't he break it.  "Because. I didn't beat you. Your tech did. That's not a victory. At least not to me. However I suspect you and your buddy over there to come back for me. Unlike that girl I saved, I can trust you guys.  I trust you won't kill anyone who doesn't have any part of this. However if they try to interfere like they did today I trust that you'll kill them. I have no problem with that." Pudd tells Birusu as he puts his hands in his pocket and walk towards Neiya. Neiya gets up heavily beaten and blood dripping from shoulder and stares Pudd right into his eyes. "First you use Cynthia as a meat shield and now you're saying you don't care if he kills people!". Pudd stops walking. "I said if they interfere. You would't understand. For all I know they can interfere to kill me. You can't trust the people in this district." Pudd says carelessly.

Pudd turns around and hear the Police Sirens driving to "Burning Flame High". "Watch this" Pudd tells Neiya. The police arrives and shouts from a mega-phone. "Pudd! We should have known you would start doing this. We should arrested you along with your brother!" multiple Policemen shout. Pudd puts his hands in the air. "I did nothing sir. In fact I saved these two girls.". One of the police officers bring out a gun and shouts "Liar! Look at that man with the blood on his face! And what about that kid on the ground.". Pudd gets on the ground and put his hand behind his head(In the background you can see Birusu and Kyojin escape to the sewer). "Kick rocks. I didn't do this. As much as I want to. I would't snoop this low." Pudd tells the officers. "Hold your fire and return to base. Send in the Ambulance and Fire squad. Pudd didn't do this. I promise you that." a police's officer phone goes off. The police officers are confused. "Sir are you sure? He is a former R.H.G. member. He most likely bloodlust." the officers beg the caller. "Do what I say." the caller said.

The police cars hurry back to base. Pudd gets up points to the running away cars. "That's what I have to go through everyday. Even in the town's isolated outskirts. A cat gets stuck in a tree. It's my fault. All because of you." Pudd angrily speaks a Neiya. Neiya barely gets a laugh it. "It might hurt to laugh but I can't help it. You're suffering. You get what you deserved. Damai proof of that." Neiya tells Pudd while laughing.  Pudd creates a fist one of his hand and then let go. "I won't get you get in my head." Pudd thinks to himself. Neiya struggles but points to Cynthia. "You know...she really liked you. I heard you actual kissed willingly that day. " Neiya tells Pudd. Pudd smiles. "I did...just to make her feel better." he said. Pudd smile turns into a dim....suspicious smirk. "Now...I can use her just like you used my Damai." he crazily tells Neiya. Neiya falls down. "Eek...ugh....That's why you saved her!?" Neiya screams painfully. Pudd turns his back on Neiya and starts thinking. "I need something cool to say! I just needed new clothes so I stole it from that local mall. I just got lucky and heard a BOOM!" he turns back around. "Something like that." Pudd say non nonchalantly.  "When I'm healed....you're dead." Neiya mutters before she passes out from injuries.  Pudd walks over to Cynthia and picks her up. "The least I can do is take these two to a hospital. I might hate both of them but I still have a heart." Pudd said. Pudd looks over to Neiya. "If she wants to kill me. She got a long line. I would't be surprised if more people come after me and her. If you think about Damai the safe one." Pudd thinks to himself.
Nate stares on but facepalms himself. "Instead of black-mailing I should had turnt them in. Sometimes I'm an idiot."

Pudd manages to carry both of them on their backs. And walks to the nearest hospital. As Pudd walks out of the school zone. He's is taunted by the pedestrians, Car drivers, and even pets. "Why are they treating like this!? I'm saving these two!" Pudd screams inside his head. Pudd is hit by a toy(Name Wibbs) which leaves a red mark on his face. Pudd looks at the toy and remember as kids Damai and himself used to trade the same toy.
Little Pudd: Here Damai! It's the GM edition!
Little Damai: Awesome! Mine is just a regular!
Little Pudd: Wanna trade!
Little Damai: Sure!

As Pudd is starring at the toy the kid's mom pull her son away from him. "Don't you dare look at anything my son owns!" the mom shouts. The mom spits into the mark left by the toy causes it to boil and burn. "OW!" Pudd shouts as me closes one eye. Pudd continues to walk to the hospital while being taunted at. Pudd looks up and see News Report on the big Town screen. The report shows Pudd walking throughout the town and damages he "caused"(Us the readers know he didn't). "How could you bring this to our town!?" One person shout. Pudd begins to walk but trips due to injuries from Kyojin. "At this rate this district is going to kill me! Bad enough I was almost beaten to death anyways." Pudd thinks. Pudd struggling but manages to get up and pick the girls back up. "Hope you didn't get anymore injuries." Pudd tells the knocked out girls. Pudd reaches the medical center and runs over the line they have knocking everyone to the side.

Nurse: Everyone is equal. We understand your concern but please wait in the line! *Looks behind Pudd* Once the line reforms.
Pudd: You don't have to treat me! Look at this girl(Neiya) compared to everyone else! Please you gotta!
Nurse: Aren't you that Pudd fella?
Pudd: Does it matter!? Please treat them!
Nurse: Sorry we cannot treat people brought in by you.

Pudd drops the two girl onto a stretcher and goes back to the nurse. "Please! I'm begging you! One should't be involved in this and the other didn't have a chance." Pudd screams. Nurse laughs and smile. "Sorry. We don't like you.". Pudd gets angry and punches the nurse. Pudd puts the nurse up by her outfit. "Listen you damn nurse. I owe to one of these girls to save them! So you better give me a room or I'll murder every patient here! You got that!" Pudd yells with a passionate roar into the Nurse's face. The Nurse looks at Pudd scared to death. And what happens?

The next day.
Cynthia and Neiya are in hospital beds sharing a room.

Author Note: I changed Pudd's personality so him and Damai won't act just alike. That way we got more diversity in characters.
