Chapter 1: The secret revealed

When I woke up, all I could see was the ceiling from my bedroom. I sat up and rubbed my neck which still stung a bit. What happened flooded back to me and I jumped out of bed and walked down the stairs but stopped when I heard voices. I went down a step or two to hear better. " Jaden just had to reveal it!" I heard my dads voice shout angrily. "Its not his fault Vladimir" my mother said trying to calm dad down. "Your right I guess..Should we tell Aria?" Dad said back to his regular tone.

They were talking about the incident..and me! I had to know what they were going to tell me so I stood by the stairs. "Tell me what dad?" I asked loud enough for them to hear.Both of my parents whipped around and looked at me. "Oh sweetie, your up. We were so worried!" Dawn said glancing at dad and acting as if nothing happened." Should we tell her?.." Dad said with a sound of defeat in his voice. "tell me what?!" I repeated again slightly annoyed. My mother sighed in defeat."I don't know how to put this sweetie but.." Mum said glancing at me." Your a werepire since your mothers a werewolf, and i'm a vampire" dad said bluntly.

I looked at him slightly shocked. "So why didn't you tell me this before?" I questioned even more annoyed but more upset." We didn't want to tell you before since we wanted you to live a regular life and not worry about this sweetie" Mum said apologetically. That just made me even more upset. " And you tell me now because?!" I shouted with small tears in my eyes." Honey, your mother and I just wanted the best for you, We were going to tell you at your twentieth birthday, when you were older but Jadens vampire instinct took over and he well..bit you which would make the werepire part take over sooner or later" My father said walking toward me for a hug. I pushed him away and ran upstairs to my room,locking the door, laying on my bed and bursting into sobs.I could hear mum yelling at dad but ignored them.

All that I ever believed in, everyone that I ever really trusted had been hiding this secret from me all this time..my whole life so far..was a lie.I sat up and picked up a photo album that was on my nightstand and opened it flipping through the pages. Pictures of me as a baby, toddler,kid and what I am now..pictures of Jaden and I playing and pictures of my family and I. I closed the album and noticed something I never had before. On the front cover there was a small moon shape that seemed to glow. I ran my finger over it and heard a clicking sound. A photo fell out and I picked it up. It was a photo of my mother and father when they first met.

Even more tears form in my eyes and I put it back in one of the empty slots in the album before laying back down staring at the ceiling when a plan came to me. I grabbed a pen and my sketch book and began making a plan. By the time I finished it was late and I was tired. I put the pen and sketch boom on the night stand before finally closing my eyes and getting some rest.
