Zecora's New Potion

The Ancient Potion

Rainbow Dash stumbled into the cottage. "Wh-what happened?" Zecora shook her head and sighed. "Now now my dear, look over here, and everything will be quite clear." Rainbow looked around the room and cringed. The whole hut was a mess. Pots were broken, potions were spilled, the cauldron was cracked, strange plants littered the floor... It was a miracle the whole tree was still intact! "I did all this? Oh, I-I'm so sorry i didn't mean... Here let me help you clean it up..." Dash stumbled over overturned bottles and started picking up whatever she could. She reached out for a lime colored, spilled potion when... "Oh no! Don't touch! It's as dangerous as a sharp pin! It's makes an explosion when in contact with skin..." But it was too late. Rainbow had already picked up the bottle. BOOM! An explosion shook the house. "Ugh," thought Dash "I'm wrecking everything today..." The chemical reaction threw her off balance and she fell right on top of Zecora. When the dust settled, RD tried to stand up. "Next time, my dear, please do not try to blow my house up into the sky," Zecora muttered. Suddenly, Rainbow's hoof caught on a loose floor board and a trap door opened right under her hooves. She lost balance and tumbled face first down the cold stone stairs. By the time she reached the bottom she was wrapped in spider webs and coated in mud. "Eew.." she thought. She heard hoofsteps coming down the steps and looked up. Her friends were hurrying to her aid. "What is with you and falling today Dash?" asked Applejack. Rainbow rubbed her head and turned around. Her eyes closed, she saw a patch of red burning against the blackness. Her eyes flickered open and she saw a patch of sunlight illuminating a stand with a dusty book   and bottle on it. She rubbed her eyes and looked again. "Hey Zecora? Whats that?" Zecora looked and saw the object RD was staring at. "Oh my, oh my, oh dearie me... It is... and yet it cannot be..." Her eyes were fixated on the book as she walked up to the patch of sunlight. "Wait," sad AJ, "Where's the light comin' from? We're underground!" She followed the light with her gaze until she found it's source: a tiny window. She jumped and grabbed hold of the windowsill. "Hey look everypony! There's Ponyville!" She looked back at Zecora. "Zecora? Zecora!" No answer. She waved her hoof in front of her muzzle. "Oh!" she cried. "Look my dears... This potion, it says, is made of your darkest fears..." She held up a thick green fluid in a glass bottle. "Well, what kind of potion is it?" Dash asked, "What does it do?" Zecora flipped through the book. "Well, this book is written in the ancient Ponysifone... and, well, this potion is suppost to clone!" Rainbow Dash snorted, "Clone? Then why is it made out of your darkest fears?" Zecora sighed. "Well, let's just say that things may not be as good as we think when we first see."
