Zecora's New Potion

Testing the potion

Rainbow scratched her head. "Uh, ok? I guess... So, who we gonna clone first?!" Zecora raised her eyebrow. "No dear Dash, do not be so rash. These things must not be done in a flash. First we must test the potion, say on this flower. Then we can see what is this potion's power." Dash nodded her head eagerly. "Of course of course! Wait. What flower exactly were you talking about?" Zecora turned around in place. "Well," she said thoughtfully as she trotted up the stairs, "Say this flower." She picked up a flower of the Heart's Desire plant she had growing in a pot. "Now we can test this potion's power." Applejack, who had trotted up the stairs as well along with Rainbow and Big Mac, sat down on a chair with her hooves on the table. "Zecora, you already used that rhyme," she drawled. "No fret my dear, just stay right here: new rhymes are already very near." Applejack rolled her eyes. "Ya, when exactly is near?" Zecora ignored the remark and faced the Heart's Desire. She took the potion and carefully held it over the bloom. "Whoa whoa whoa," cried Dash and flew in between Zecora and the flower. "Just what exactly are you planning on doing?" Zecora sighed with her eyes half closed. "Well, what do you think i am going to do? I will drip this on the bloom and its double will be a-new. Now step aside please, now, will you? We have so little time and so much to do!" Rainbow wearily stepped aside, and Zecora focused her gaze on the bloom. She carefully picked up the potion and slowly started to tilt it... little by little... centimeter by centimeter, until... POP! A single drop of the potion fell from glass bottle onto the Heart's Desire. They all stared at it for a couple of seconds, and nothing happened. "What is wrong with this thing?!" Rainbow yelled as she zoomed up to the blossom. "Nothing's happening!" Zecora squinted at the bloom as she leaned closer. Suddenly, POOF! A tiny cloud of strong-smelling pink stuff exploded from the flower. Everyone backed away, coughing. "W-what was that suppose to be?" asked Applejack as she tried to catch Big Mac, who had fainted from the intense perfume. Zecora coughed. "I dont know just what went wrong. Just keep on watching: this should't take long." Just as the words left her lips, another cloud of smoke erupted from the Heart's Desire, this time green. It kept on emitting different colors: reds, purples, blues, oranges, yellows, until finally it exploded in a brilliant spectrum, filling to room with sparkles. When the smoke and sparkles cleared, everyone looked up to see something they had not expected. Two flowers were now sharing the same stem. They were the same, yet somehow... different. A paradox. Rainbow Dash stared at the unfolded scene. "That... was... AWESOME!" she cried. "Can you do that to me? Can you? Can you?!"
