War makes things harder for you to enjoy your life.
Peace makes it easier to make you have a long enjoyable life.

But with peace, we might all go insane.

Impossible. Peace is peace. If it makes you go insane than it isn't peace

Nobody wants war. But starting a war is easier than finding peace.

Whatever floats your boat.
But you do know war is basically the simplest answer to fight against the increase in the human population and for tranquility. What better way than to just kill each other?

Well... force everyone into planes and then head for the Bermuda Triangle. War kills everything, not just humans. We'd be saving nature a load of problems.

Peace is better than war.....
Progress wise it's less productive in the economy, at least with military products, and politics.
Though it's much better than whole populations getting gassed, bombed, or worse.

Though without war......there would be no progress.....there would be.....

It's like Yin and Yang, a balance scale, whatever you want to compare it to..... war....war never changes... Without war, there can be little progress (Because there are political wars, debates, See More▼

Gotta agree. @tylnapp answered assuming humans can only progress under stress and desperation. That isn't true, even though it could be for some people. Can't state that the whole human race doesn't have creativity when in peace.
