been experimenting with tape loops lately for my music. i recorded myself improvising over a guitar part i wrote a while ago last night and then did harmonies to that. popped some reverb on and it sounds?? incredible??? i think that’s the sound i want

public transit is so crazy in my city. like it’s so wholesome but also so scary
when i open at work i always catch the 5:24 am train and i get on the car at the front of the train since it feels the safest. there’s two old ladies who get on at different stops and they always say hi to one another. there’s an old man who writes in a notebook really really tiny but always fills the pages. once i took a late night train and talked to a stranger for the whole ride. she was an older See More lady with purple hair and two teeth. different late night train i saw a homeless couple cuddling up together sharing a joint (sad bc the city should offer better services for those in need but they seemed content)
also sometimes i’ll get on and there’s some guy furiously masturbating. saw someone doing coke yesterday. also a few weeks ago there was some guy chanting “SUCKING DICK SUCKING DICK SUCKING DICK” (5:43 am) followed by some guy randomly starting to talk about the second coming of christ after he left and another time we had a guy straight up be like “i’ve shot 6 people”

@klavier ofc!! honestly have never had an experience on the train where i felt like my safety was in immediate danger. most of the people who seem threatening are unfortunately j homeless people who are mentally ill or on drugs, never had any of them become actually hostile, at worst they’ll j say disturbing shit. j stay out of notoriously bad areas and don’t See More get too friendly w strangers and u should be good:)
