The Dragon of The Earth
"Oh my dear child. Are you lost?" I looked up to face the big green scaly thing I had bumped into and saw that it was actually a dragon. The dragon was beautiful. Bright green scales, dark green wings and a gaze that would make chocolate melt. I was too shocked for words so I just nodded."Well we can't have that can we? My name is Dandelion, The Dragon of the Earth but just call me Dandi. What is your name child?" Dragon of the Earth? So, She's an Earth Dragon. I had always asked my dad whether dragons exist and he's always said no. I wish he was here now to be proven wrong...
"Hikari, Hikari Grace Ma'am..."
"You don't need to be so formal! Trust me. What brings you out here?" I looked at the ground, afraid to tell Dandi what had happened to my village.
"My village... is on fire... my parents are dead..." Thats when it hit me. Were Sting, Raios and Emerald okay? Had they gotten out alive? The thought of this brought fresh tears to my eyes and I buried my face into the surprisingly soft scales in front of me and cried for at least half an hour whilst Dandi soothed me.
It was a little while after I had calmed down that Dandi spoke again.
"Would you like to live with me young one? I can also teach you some amazing magic!" I looked up at her in shock. A dragon... could teach me magic? I had no where else to go so I nodded.
"Thank you... but i have one question..."
"Whats that young one?"
"Can i call you mummy?"
"Of course. You may call me whatever you like. Now. Seeing as you are a little too young for magic at the moment, I shall just look after you and teach you some basic skills. Is that okay with you?" I nodded, and smiled. A whole new world was opening up in front of me which would never have been available if I hadn"t run into Dandi. This is the start of my new life, with my Dragon mother by my side.
