She crawled her fingers around my stomach, ready to pick me up. I hissed and backed away. “Marigold, how about we look at another? She`s not ready yet.” The man said.Tiger showed up. Mewing from his cage, he said, “Don`t ruin this chance, Midnight. I have been here for seven years. Don`t ruin this chance.”
Seven years? And he still didn`t want to escape? What was wrong with him?
Suddenly, Midnight knew she had to win this human over with kindness. First, she purred in delight. Next, she came to the human and rubbed her with her gentle fur. The human slowly picked her up and hugged her. She felt a surge of love telling her everything was going to be okay.
