Chapter 2:The celestial items

All of a sudden the other two ponies drew there swords and lunged at me.SunShine cast a barrier spell around us.The two ponies fell back.The emblem on the leaders armor started glowing and the barrier around us broke.The leader then picked me up with his magic.SunShine cast a fireball spell at the leader but it bounced off the armor and back at her.The leader just smiled.ShootingStar lunged at the other two ponies who were getting up. I kicked the leader hard which left a dent in his armor since my father also taught me a bit about fighting since he was a guard and all.The leader lost concentration and dropped me.I rushed back to my friends."Lets Go.Our mission here is done anyway" the leader shouted to the other ponies before being engulfed in a black aura again.He then teleported away.The other two ponies nodded pushing ShootingStar off and then teleporting away.After they had left I flew back home thinking of what just happened on the way.

When I arrived I practiced fighting with my favorite sword that my dad gave me just before...before he was murdered.The sword was called CrimsonMoon.It had a crimson colored handle with a sapphire embedded in it.The blade was a shining silver.My father said it was a very special and unique sword.I heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. I opened it and saw The Mane Six standing there as well as The CMC and my two best friends. I let them in and asked what they were doing here. "Pinkie Pie told us what happened at SugarCube Corner and we got worried about you so we decided to visit you. So whats wrong and why did you go all hysterical when those ponies arrived?" Twilight said. I sighed and said"you really want to know why?" They  nodded. I explained why I had gone all hysterical and told them about the 'incident'. After a long silence Applejack said  "Well.. Ahm sorry to hear that SugarCube.Ah didn't mean to pry."."Its Okay." I replied thinking of my father."Sooo...I noticed your sword.It..Looks...AWESOME!.Where did you get it?" Rainbow Dash then said.I smiled at this and just said "It was a gift from my father and its called CrimsonMoon". I then remembered something and headed to my room to get something. When I returned I was holding a Midnight Blue bow with two diamonds where your supposed to hold it and place your arrow(one on each side) as well as a beautiful blue quiver with small diamonds along the hem.I also held a golden necklace that looked like Princess Celestia's necklace except  instead there was a fiery/orangey gem (the color of SunShines mane and tail in other words) embedded in it.The others looked at the items I was holding.

I gave the bow and quiver to ShootingStar and the necklace to SunShine."When he gave me my sword he also gave me these and said to give it to you two"I said picking up my sword which was now glowing a silvery color.SunShine immediately  put on the necklace which began glowing the same color as the gem.ShootingStar equipped the bow and quiver which was also glowing except a blueish hue.

Twilight gasped. "No...It can't be!...Could it?" She muttered."what do you mean?"I asked."Well legend tells of The Three Celestial Beings who were sisters even more powerful by themselves then Princess Celestia and Princess Luna combined.The Three Sisters started a war.One was of the sun,one was of the moon and the other was of the stars.No One won since they had the exact same amount of power each but they still fought.After a while they began to tire and eventually too exhausted to fight they transformed into The Celestial Items.The one of the sun transformed into a necklace,the one of the moon transformed into a sword and the one of the stars transformed into a bow and a quiver that never ran out of arrows" Twilight explained."So..your'e saying that you think that these items my father gave me are The Celestial Items?" I asked. Twilight nodded. "Well now that ah think about it.It makes sense"Applejack said. The CMC and the rest of The Mane Six nodded.

"So what happens now Twilight" I asked the purple mare as she seemed to know a lot about it. "Well.. The rest of the legend is that three friends who wield The Celestial Items will stop the war against a ancient enemy.When the three Items are wielded by the three chosen ones they will start to glow. Only then will the journey begin.When the journey ends the final battle will begin.The Three Celestial Items will then and only then finally unite as one to stop the ancient enemy." Twilight said looking at the items. I looked down at CrimsonMoon and then the bow and quiver and the necklace my father gave me.The question remained though, How did my father get ahold of these items?, although Twilights story does make sense...I sighed."What Journey?" I asked Twilight again."I don't know..The legend doesn't mention what journey just a journey" she replied with a sigh."I think we should see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna then." I announced. Everyone nodded in agreement.

I was looking out the window when we arrived at our destination.I hopped off the train and went to Canterlot Castle with the Mane Six and my best friends behind me.We had left The CMC back in PonyVille.When we arrived the guards in front  of the door stopped us."Its alright they're with me" Twilight told them.The guards just nodded and let us enter.Twilight trotted up to the Princess and whispered something.Princess Celestia nodded."Follow me" The princess said before trotting down the hallway and to Princess Lunas Bedroom.She knocked on the door."Lulu we need to talk" Princess Celestia said in a serious tone.Luna opened the door."Okay! Okay! Thy had eaten thous cake!" She replied."WHAT!" Princess Celestia shouted then she looked at us."We will deal with that with that later Lulu but for now The Mane Six have something to discuss with the two of us." The Princess said returning to her usually calm manner.Princess Luna nodded and followed us.Princess Celestia came to a large meeting room and motioned for us to sit down." So what was the serious matter that you wanted to discuss with us Twilight and who are these three?"Princess Celestia said gesturing to us."My name is SilverMoon and these are my two best friends.This is SunShine and thats ShootingStar"I replied gesturing to my two friends."I see" she replied."Well its about The Three Celestial Beings as well as the items" Twilight said.At the the two princess's expressions became serious

"What about the items Twilight?"The Princess of the Sun asked."Well Twilight thinks that we have the items." I replied pulling out CrimsonMoon that was still glowing.The Mane Six and my two best friends nodded.ShootingStar pulled out her bow and quiver.SunShine took out her necklace.The two princess's gasped.
"Where did thou get these items!"Princess Luna asked."My father,LunarWing gave to me when I was younger" I replied."Your father gave them to you?Princess Celestia  asked raising a eyebrow.I nodded."Then that can only mean....No it can't can it LuLu?" She then said.Luna nodded"yes"she said gravely."What?"I asked."Come with me" Princess Celestia said leading us too a large room which seemed to hold records of everything that has happened.They led us to a wall where it showed the story of The Three Celestial Beings.It showed the story that  Twilight told us. The last pictures made The Mane Six and the other two chosen ones and I gasp.It depicted of the final battle.Half of it showed the ancient enemy destroying all of Equestria with The Celestial Items nowhere to be found but the other side depicted of The  items turning back to normal and then warring with each other destroying Equestria along with it. Either way it showed that Equestria would be destroyed.If we used the items at the end they would revert to normal and the sisters would war again which would destroy Equestria along with the war, but if we didn't bring the items it showed the ancient enemy destroying Equestria.There had to be another way!....Right? I thought to myself.
