I still always feel depressed. I don't know what to do! Please help!

I still always feel depressed. I still have constant thoughts of hurting or killing myself. I think it's time to tell one of my closest friends that I trust with my life about it, but I don't know exactly how to tell her. I want it to be completely private, and I don't want anyone else to know. (Which throws texting out because my parents could see) The only class I have with her is band, and I see her at Girl Scouts (of course with a bunch of other girls). I also worry that she could treat me differently or think it's weird at first. I don't know what to do or how to tell her! Please help!

Just calm down, take a deep breath, or drink some herbal tea (Some have soothing herbs in it, it should help with stress). Tell her after band or somewhere private at lunch or Girl Scouts. If she judges you (hopefully NOT), simply tell her not to tell anyone whatsoever. But, I believe she wouldn't judge you :)

Well I haven't really gotten up the courage to tell my friend yet but...I would say set up a time to hang out. Parks are good because it will help you feel calmer. Tell him or her that what you're going to tell them is secret and that you trust them. If he or she doesn't support you then (sorry to say) they aren't your friend. I don't know I mean I haven't had the courage to tell anyone. You're really brave! Be confident in yourself. I hope it goes well for you.

Thanks! Honestly, I fully believe I can trust my friend (mainly cause she trust me and she's put up with my weird obsessions nonstop XD) and I can maybe try to schedule something (Or call her when my parents aren't home ;))

I'll probably try to get her after band or at Girl Scouts. I SWEAR TO GOD IF SOMEONE TRIES TO EVESDROP!!! That reminds me of how someone in school started flipping through my ####### sketchbook and I was so embarrassed. Yea, I KNOW MY DRAWINGS LOOK FINE BUT I GET NERVOUS AS HECK WHEN SOMEONE IS JUDGING ME AND MY DRAWINGS!!!

Yeah. It's probably better to tell them in person.

I heard on a website that you could give the person a letter, but I'm not 100% sure of that being effective.

Yeah. I know how you feel :) But if you start to feel anxious try picking a letter and listening words on your head that start with that letter. It's helped me a couple of times :P

That's great! Thanks! It felt good at first, to tell one of my other friends once she started a coversation about her feeling the same way. Though, honestly, I trust my other friend more.

It's okay. Just take a deep breath, and tell her. Do it before or after band. Or after Girl Scouts. Or even set up a hangout time. If she judges you, tell her you trusted her, or even tell her that before. But, remember, don't care what others think of you.
