Why do girls wear makeup?
I mean like wearing makeup is stupid! Your hiding your natural beauty you already have! Sorry to be rude to people that DO wear makeup, but I just think its REALLY stupid to wear makeup. Natural beauty is best! Please tell me why girls wear makeup so much!

when its not too much make up then its okay, but if theres too much and girl dont know how to put makeup then it really is awful- thats my opinion.

As a girl, let me tell you something: I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT EITHER.
I find quite stupid trying to hide yourself behind that unhealthy and horrible makeups... I mean: Why do you want to seem something you are not?
I'm transparent, I'm clean, I'm natural, I don't need that darn dirt to feel better and better-looking...
PD: This doesn't include the special makeups some people use to create some costumes or cosplays...I'm always talking about daily use.

I think people wear it to hide their true selves behind a mask of makeup when they are insecure and pretend to be popular. I only wear nail polish and lip gloss, and I absolutely hate eyeshadow, it's hard to get it off. I don't wear makeup very often though, and when I do, it's for fun and not style, like CrystalWings said. And I wear it when I cosplay.

Hey beeesafe! Girls wear makeup, sometimes it's because they aren't confident about themselves/don't feel pretty. Maybe they're bullied in school. A different reason girls would wear makeup is just as, like, an accessory type of thing. (Same reason for nail polish, basically.) but there are different reasons and I'm sure girls have their own reason. Makeup is just a style. Also, at sleepovers girls do it for fun. It's just a fun thing to do;) hope I helped

Because makeup is fun and helps you express yourself. There's a lot of things you can do with it, not just hide your natural face. You can do really cool stuff with it. People are beautiful with and without makeup. I haven't actually seen a girl use makeup to please boys in a really long time.

I used to hate make up when I was young but now, I like to think that make up is like war paint to brace the world (and to hind acne). Sometimes I wear make up to intimidate people, cause I don't like talking to people, and come on who doesn't wanna look fierce when they see they're worst enemy?

I wear lipgloss and concealer. Eyeshadow for special occasions. Think about it though. If you have a pimple, and you are going to a pary, you are going to want to cover it up. That's a reason people wear make-up, but sometimes they just want to look nicer.

No idea. Hate makeup (It looks gross). Only worn it once (mom forced me). Pain to get off (still see a spec on my eye). Acne, acne, ACNE (Never had acne in my life, don't plan on ever having it).

I'm not a huge fan of makeup myself especially when girls cake themselves in it. I only ever wear foundation because I have terrible acne that I'm highly self-conscious of. The reason most girls wear makeup is because their trying to hide or change something they don't like about themselves. Also makeup can enhance natural beauty not mask it. I think when you can't see all the glaring red lights on my face, I look WAY better but it's just making me look human again.
