*Roger's P.O.V.* After Rebecca died, Kate has been acting very depressed. I can't blame her, I'm sad too. Though it's a little strange that she would act like this when they weren't very close. Maybe she thinks it's her fault........No. My daughter is a smarter woman than that. She knows it couldn't be helped. If Kate went out to find her, she would just get swept away, too. I want her to be happy, but now I can't think of any ways to cheer her up........

Rebecca...died...or, at least I'm sure she's dead. I should have gone out and saved her! I'm nothing but scum! I couldn't help Rebecca. I wasn't very close to her, but Dad was. Kate put the old, battered journal away and exited the cave. She heard a voice behind her.
"Where are you off to?" Tom asked.
"Just checking on Rebecca and Dad, They're taking longer then usual." She continued towards the coast. She managed to see the woman, but not her father at first. Then, she saw him in the ocean, he appeared to be retrieving something. Rebecca was moving her head around, trying to figure out which direction he had gone, for he left in a hurry.
