I'm reading about vengeful spirits and apparently, some people salt or burn the body, and the place they were killed to either appease or perform an exorcism on the spirit.

Something is really bothering me about the fnaf lore.
Do the spirits of the children know they're dead? Are they trying to live their "lives" in the suits? Are they trying to get revenge to get free? (I have a feeling they feel "itchy" being stuck in the suits and knowing they're dead and stuff)
