Chapter 10

    I wake up to Ellie yelling at me from downstairs. I smile. Now she has to wear cold under clothes. I walk down and get hit in the face with a foam football. Oh yeah, Ellie has a older brother iit's the 8th grade. I get mad.
    "Y-you big j-jerk!" I yell awkwardly.
    "Calm down, Kath. It was an accident." Ellie says with a smirk.
    I sit next to Ellie at the table. Her brother is forever tormenting me! I can't even use the bathroom without him constantly yelling through the door. We finish breakfast and get driven to school. I get to my locker and get what I need. Whispers are heard. Ellie crushes me in a hug. Good bye cruel world...
    "Kathy,  Aaron is gonna do something stupid again!" She yells in my ears.
    "Again!?" I yell.
    We run to his locker. Mich is there. I remember yesterday's... um... event. My face burns at the memory. Aaronn walks up to me. My face burns hotter. HELP MEH!
    "Michael Michirie, I challenge you!" He says turning around.
    "The prize?" Mich asks nonchalantly.
    "Kathy's heart and affection."
    Wait, what!? I never agreed to that, Aaronn! I grab my hood and cover my face, blushing a bright red. This can't be happening!
    "Who ever can get Kathy to confess love to first, wins. So we have to show her how much we love her!" Aaronn exclaims.
    "Deal!" Mich yells.
    This is just a dream! R-right? I pinch myself. It hurts badly. I AM NOT DREAMING! Help meeeeee! I run to first period class. Mich and Aaronn sit on both sides of me. Ellie sits in frint of me. I feel all the girls glaring. LORD GIVE ME MERRRRCCCCYYY! After class Mich grabs my hand and pulls me away from the mob of boys and girls. He takes me to a not so populated area.
    "Kathyrine, I will not lose to Aaronn! I'll be sure you stay with me. I swear it!" He says with determination.
   My heart pounds to those words. My eyes water slightly. I smile, boys are so stupid... Mich pulls me into a hug. I freeze at the contact, but loosen up. He then tilts my head up, and k-k... Ow, it's so embaressing! I tense up again. Stupid Mich, don't play with my heart strings...
