series: one way back ~ book one: test town

meeting Scotty

I woke up chained to a wall by my hand.  I pulled and pulled but it got me no where i looked around and noticed a little boy  staring at me with a grin.
"hello I'm Scotty welcome to our home it's not as good as up in the town but up there is dangerous so it doesn't matter! hi I'm Scotty!" the little boy said smiling more than before.  
"hi" i said a little scared i then realized i could use the boy.  "can you get me unchained"?
"yes i'll get the key" he ran to a near by door but was stopped by the young man who had brought me here.
"Scotty where do you think your going" he said folding his arms
"getting the key to free her she is nice"!
"what if she's tricking you she could be a monster or working for the monsters"
"your right" Scotty sighed looking disappointed
"now scotty i am going to be right back but do not let the prisoner go"!
"ok ok"! the young man left and Scotty turned to look at me and smiled
"what"? i asked Scotty held out his hand to show the key.  I smiled and Scotty untied me.  "thanks"! i said Scotty took my hand and lead me out to a hudge room filled with people living like a normal person would i looked at Scotty who looked at me smiling as usual.
"welcome"! he said and i again looked over all the people.
