Into the woods again
It's Saturday and you feel really tired to set your foot on the floor from the bed. And realize that today you have to present a project with Ria, and other group members. you take the project with you , carefully and run out of the house, take a deep breathe to feel at ease and stop worry. You reach school in a long, red bus. You rush toyour locker and put your project in there and walk to your class." There you are! where is our Science PROJECT?? I and the girls even declined Jade's offer, for us to JOIN HIM!" one of your teammates, Emma , asked you.
"yeah & he's the Cutest, coolest guy in THE WHOLE SCHOOOOL!!" another girl said
"Yeah that's because we head you're good at projects and stuff, while we do our nails, you'll be done!! Anyway, girlfriend, where is the project?" Emma asked
"Cool down , Emilia. Let the poor girl take her time" Diana , her another teammate smiled
"Yeah where is it?" Ria asked concerned.
"don't worry. it's in my locker. let's bring it to class when the science period is going on." you advised
"okay, you're right actually, we wouldn't have place to keep it here till the fifth period" Ria said
By the fifth period , you excitedly run to the locker and open the door with five six girls behind you. "here it-what?" you say as you see some blank papers.
"Wow...so is this some kind of joke..? " Emma said putting her hands on her waist.
"Oh my! Don't tell me the papers you kept got stolen and the blank papers were switched by them! geez!" Diana said stopping painting her nails and looking at you worriedly.
"You're kind of...right?" you say totally confused , wiping your sweat.
They all start to look intensely at you and you start to panic. you swallow the lump in your throat and try to figure out. But because of the gossips , you just stay blank.
"I told ya! I had a bad feeling joining her team from the start ! You should've listened to me, girls!" Emma said
"Now now, Emma , Let me handle this. " Diana calmed her down and said "Violet, I was actually having so many hopes on you till now, but i guess this means we have to , um, i don't know how to say this, but wouldn't it be wrong for everyone suffering because of, um, you.. so ..i think we need to do something about this or because of a person the whole group will be graded a C or even an F" she adjusted her hair.
"Yeah, come girls, let's go to Jade! He's such a sweet heart , he will definitely take us in! You're coming too , right. Ria?! " Emma looked at Ria, she was awkwardly silent, but she finally spoke. "Oh, yeah, sure..why not..." she gave you a quick look & went along with others
"You don't believe me , Ria? you too?" you almost cry.
But she couldn't hear you out. Everyone eXcept Diana leaves the place, that's when she keeps her hand on her shoulder, and said " sorry dear. i do believe you, but i don't think you don't deserve this. As you don't have a chance to stand against Jade, Emma, Ria, Hazel, and ..mostly ME ." she gave a bright smile following a smirk.
"I pity you" she said and flipped her hair.
"You have such a shady and unkown side, that's so dirty! how could you, you %^*&# b*tch " you get raged
"oh my goodness, Don't you know cursing is not allowed. and you're doing in front of the most risky person!" she pointed at her discipline badge .
"Oh Diana, and who's-that-girl? Oh sorry, can you tell me your name . i don't remember you"
yeah , yeah and we study is the same class you thought. " Neither do i, nor i want to" you stomped back to the class. But couldn't bear a minute as everyone was looking and staring at you and whispering to each other. you ran to the washroom & stayed there for the rest of the school hours. To find inner peace , you walk into the woods. The flowers, the wind, the rustling leaves , the slight rain drops seem to welcome you. you forget about everything and go back to normal you . "well you cares about the world..i don't " you try to smile.
you bend down and start to cry. You hear a soft voice saying " Have you seen a bird around hear?" He asked
"um..what?" you get surprised by the stranger. You could see him partly as the fog covered his face. as he came towards you, you were charmed by his appearance, weird yet elegant clothes, his deep blood red eyes make you stare into his eyes,
then you break the silence "Do you mean a grey bird"
"Yes, wait, like this" he shows you a photo from a phone.
"Yeah!!" you exclaim "That's it!! It looks exactly like it!"
"That's great to hear" he flips his Dark bangs off which covered almost the whole face.
"So..where it s now" he asks
"Where...it is um..right..now ..i-in my House" you stutter
"Well, that means , you're the one chosen huh" he looks at you intensely from top to bottom.
"Um..What do you by that" you ask curiously
"Hm..so did you find anything else with that the bird?
he keeps holds his chin and smirks "Suspicious, you say, what way?"
"It says MY BRIDE ..which is way too embarrassing and suspicious. A unique way to propose. probably it got hurt in the mid way , in the way to the writer's lover" you laugh
He didn't say a thing but looked at you , smiling, which seemed weirdly attractive.
You felt awkward and said "I think i must go, I actually have school.." you try to leave but he held your hand and pulled you closer. You give him a little dirty look , which didn't scare him away. "Leave my hand, Mister" you said , a bit annoyed at his stubbornness.
"Oh. I didn't mean to harm or anything" he realized your annoyance.
" Just to warn you, you will be approached with few mysterious people in future. take care! But before you leave , let's have a small chat in cafe & i am no dog . i won't bite you so be free" he assured "And i am actually pretty sweet, but i can't help but play tricks on the people i hate" he winked
"I don't get it" you say , feeling a bit shy but shocked too.
"and why a cafe! Talk to me here, if there is anything " you said
"woah you seem pretty bold ! don't assume it's a date or something..far from that...a contract! But hey, i'll pay. I'm pretty rich now" he said , again placing the bangs away but a bit frustrated as they fall back.
You both start walking in the woods to the Main streets . You take a taxi & he silently watches out of the window, His eyes looked like he was thinking something very deeply, to you. You think he is mysteriously attractive, but a lot suspicious .
You place your hands on his rather pale hands when the car has bumped over the rocks. You try to hide your blush and look at him . he doesn't pay much attention, you look away and gaze at the window, confused of what is happening.
You reach the cafe. and he opens the door for you , but looking away from there. And looking somewhere at huge disgust. You try to look in the same direction and find a Tall man, in a grey coat, with a huge tie , and neatly brushed long hair covering his not so broad shoulders. You stare at the guy , curiously , and said "whom are you satring at at, is he that guy w-"
that's when the black haired guy, the one mysterious guy, covered your mouth with his hand and looked at you slightly irritated
"Hey you;re way too loud!"
"Sowwy" You muttered
He grabs you by your hand and both of you hide behind a Huge random car. As the brunette classy guy has gone in his classy Black car, he sighed in relief and looked at you , and apologized for being so unpleasant. You nod your head and he smiled at you back.
"Let's get into the ..CAFE!!!" he ran to the cafe & excitedly slammed the door , and entered and rushed to the counter, grabbing your hand too , ofcourse. You had a very different opinion about him at first. Dark, shady, trickster, and psychopath. but he seemed more like a goofy, sweet, friendly, Playful guy. You stop your smile so bad that he got worried and said "Hey...are you feeling ill or something! Go to the sink, please! Don't puke on my doughnuts!!!" he screamed
You laughed and suddenly your stomach grumbled. He passed the menu to you and said :Order somethin . I'm paying ya know"
"Allright...if it doesn't bother you" you say , taking the menu
"Ha, anything for my fiance" he gulps down and freaked out "oops.."
"FIANCE!!!" You scream so loud that everyone looked at you both.
"Ahh please calm down....Sit down . sirt down. that was a plain old joke"
"then why did you say oops!?" you look at him disgusted & slightly blushed
"That..that..uh. yeah-" he tried to continue
"No excuses. spit the truth!!!" you said
"Wait a sec or all i could do is spit the food" he said still eating.
After eating the dessert , cleaning his face, he suddenly became serious & stared at you wildly.
"Now shut up...and listen. You were the chosen one. It's the game of fate. played by royals usually. and as we are royals too, it was a part of the tradition. to make it more simple, you are the bride for me, as the bird was mine" he winked and kissed you on the cheek.
"To know more, meet me in the forest tomorrow.." he whispered .... I will be there, Viola. -love, Raven, sharp 6!" and you blushed too hard and your ears got all red. the way he said was totally in a
flirtatious tone.
He waves his hand, and you still shocked but more confused wave him back, but scream inside & feel stupid to have been fooled.
You rub your cheek still blushing & didn't want to admit that you were actually looking forward to meet him.
"How did you..know my name..Raven.."
but he didn't hear you as he disappeared in the smoke , in the mid of the traffic.
