Chapter 4.

How do I stop the urge to be on my phone a lot?

Here is an extremely common question:
How can I reduce the time that I am on my phone? I am on it too much!

There are many ways to solve this problem.
One is to set reminders and restrictions to not go on your phone a lot. For reminders, when ever you go on your phone it will say "please don't spend lots of time on the phone." For restrictions you can set a time that you can go on but after that the phone turns off and you can't use it. Make it so that you can respond to texts in case of emergencies.
What you can also do it hide your phone. I know it might seem like a silly thing to do but if you have your phone in a place you are a lot in you will see it and be reminded to use it. If you hide it then you will not use it as much. The problem with this is if you forget about your phone you might loose it for good so it's best to make someone else hide it. (Don't try looking for it though!)
The last thing to do is try not to think about your phone and try to think about other things. If you keep on thinking about it it will want you to use it more.
