Chapter 2

"Wh- what do you mean?" I asked frightened. "You see, our boss is a demon, and believes he's the legendary one in the prophecy. Because the prophecy states that the chosen one can speak to ghosts..." Jeff trailed off. "Prophecy? Chosen one?!? I'm lost." I studdered. "Well, bacically Death is going to take us and stop us." Candy man explained gleefully.
"Sooo, does it say that they have no idea they're Death?" I asked. They all nodded, as if this is normal. "I should hide then, shouldn't I?" I asked, looking up with hopeful eyes.
A girl with brown, long hair and blood stained tights shook her head. She started speaking Japaniese, where I couldn't understaind. "She means you can't hide here because he can sense anyone in the house. "Who said I was hiding in the house?" I asked, smirking.
"Y-you can't! You may going on a killing spree or something!" Jack shouted. "Only if I know them and had a bad past with them... Besides, everywhere in this forest but this area I know. I've lived here before, and I vaguely remember this area." I shrugged, remembering something from when I was little.
"Wait, you've been here before?" They asked. "Y-yeah, I've been in the house before..... Wait... Wasn't there stairs right there?" I asked, pointing twoards the basement door. They all looked shocked as if they just discovered something. "When was this!?" The clown screamed at me, grabbing my shoulders. "Uhhh.... When I was five...?" I tried awnsering, unsure. "How old are you!?" He contended. "S- sixteen..." I replied, confused. "Shit, she knew where we were located before she knew it!" Candy man Jack muttered, backing up. "Now that I think about it... A ghost warned me to leave..." I stated, remembering the incident.

Memory:
I was running around while my parents were sitting at a picnic, eating. I ended up wandering away, getting lost. Remembering my dad telling me to find shelter if I got lost, I ran in an empty house, using a broken board as defense in case of a wolf or something. I sat in a corner next to the stairs of the broken house, falling to sleep. I didn't have a phone, and I knew I would end up being found.
"You have to leave! There's bad people here!" I heard a voice say. I turned my head and saw a ghost, becoming me to leave. I heard screaming and ran, crying.

Now:
I ended up falling to sleep listening to everyone argue. Who knows, I may die tonight.
