Chapter two: What is this place?

There were no windows but a lot of light. The smell of sweet butterscotch and pastry wafted around the rooms. "Here you go my child" I gladly took the plate and ate. The sweet creamy inside and soft fluffy pastry was beautiful and on the plus side home made. "Thank you Tori" I remarked as she sat in a chair with a book in her hands?. I continued eating the sweet treat and wondered on about this place, I mean it is beautiful. "You have questions, please tell" "ok, what is this place?" "Hah I should have known Child, this is the ruins, with in the gate way to the underground" she replied. It was hard taking all this information in because again I wondered will I ever get home? Tori said nothing and continued reading so I was left to my own agenda. I wondered past the lounge and into a hall it was painted yellow. Noticing a vase I looked at the pink flower. It had coral pink petals and a deep blood red inside. I hadn't seen any thing like it, but to be honest I haven't seen many flowers in my life.
        
The time ticked away until I finally yawned "Chiara, My child follow me to your room" I laid my head on the soft pillow under the covers and quickly fell asleep. There were swirls of blue and purple every colour you could think of blended swirled twisted into one. Dreams floated by until the sun peeked up over in the sky.
