Chapter 2.

Classroom 3b

Lexa:
My first period was math in room 3b. I was in the highest level math group in the 8th grade. I had a desk next to Ginny. Ginny was about an inch taller then me and was one of the most popular girls. She had tan skin and black hair that fell a little past her shoulders. She had brown eyes and her hair was pulled back into a half braid like thing.  *note Ginny is the girl In the black shirt on the cover. Lexa isn’t on the cover*. Mr. rogers the math teacher stood in front of the class. He rubbed her bald head and motioned towards the back of the classroom. I turned my head. I boy stood up and walked timidly to the front. He was extremely cute. He had blonde hair that looked anime bright blue eyes, his skin was light olive and he had freckles dusting his face. I smiled and gave a wave.

“We have a new student”, mr Rogers said.

Ginny rolled her eyes and whispered to me loud enough for people around us to hear “obviously.”

I ignored her mainly because I couldn’t pull my eyes away from him.

“This is Lewis. Lewis you can sit down now”

He returned to the back of the class room. Amanda had moved closer to Ginny.

“He’s not bad looking. Probably the best you can do. Get to know his you need a boyfriend.”, Amanda said to Ginny.

“Your probably right”, Ginny replied.

I couldn’t help but snarl.

“What’s wrong lexa”, Amanda asked?

“I had something in my throat”, I replied.

I couldn’t let Ginny get Lewis. Even if she did we could still be friends. I went to the bathroom after math to look in the mirror. I needed to see if i looked okay. I looked more than okay I looked pretty. I had long wavy light brown hair, green eyes and I had several freckles.

“I can do this”, I thought outloud.
