Two heartbreaks

Ginny’s impression

Lexa:
At lunch I sat with ny friends. Sam, molly, and osha. Are conversations were on the school semi-formal which was coming up in 2 weeks. Sam had asked osha to the dance. We always knew they had a thing for each other they will be such a cute couple.

“I wonder if the new kid, Lewis will ask anyone”, molly said.

“I hope he asks me”, I said blushing.

“Oh someone’s in love”, osha teased.

“I am not I haven’t even talked to him”, I said.

Molly gives an all knowing look. Lewis was sitting with a few of the other boys but he didn’t talk he just gazed across the room looking lost.

Ginny:
I didn’t really like anyone at this’s school but Amanda was right Lewis is about the best there is. He was rather cute and he had a good sence of style. He was every girls dream. This year my groups goal was to try to get all of us dates to the dance.

“He looks bored you should go make an impression on him”, Ray said.

I looked at him and met eyes with lexa who was also looking at him she quickly turned away. I was worried now. Lexa was very pretty and Lewis would probably fall for her.

“Okay”, I said.

This was my chance I got up and took a seat across from Lewis. I assumed lexa was glaring at me. Maybe she would hate me for this I don’t want her to hate me. It doesn’t matter we aren’t that good friends anyways.

“Hi”, I didn’t know what else to say. I couldn’t blow this.

“Hello”, he said.

“I’m Ginny”, I held out my hand

“Lewis”

We shook. His hands were soft.

“Are you enjoying your day?”

“It’s okay. It’s hard you know, moving to a new school”

“Where are you from anyway”

“California”

“Wow! California!!”

Lots of movie stars live in California I wonder If he’s scene any of them. We talked for there remaining minutes of lunch. I think he likes me!
