Swirling Lights. (short)

I heard something and saw a strange light coming from around the corner. I rushed towards light and saw it. It appeared to be a swirling mass, or a circling light.... I'm still not sure how to describe it! It was colorful, I remember that, and I was terrified of whatever it was. Yet, as scary as it was, it was amazing, and appeared welcome. I couldn't move. It felt like half of my body wanted to run away as fast as I could, but the other half wanted to reach out and touch it. What was this thing?
I just stared at the lights. It was beginning to get smaller, like it was going to disappear. I finally gave in to my curiosity. I wanted to investigate it before it was gone. Walking towards it, I reached out my hand. It was warm, but the second I touched it I was being pulled into it. I screamed as I was sucked into the light. There was a dizziness in my head, and I passed out. All I remember are colorful lights twisting around everywhere I looked.
