Selenas POVMaking it to the top 9 was unbelievable.I really hoped I was in the top 6.As I prepared,I looked over at Hermione.She had been very quiet ever since that Luna girl left.I sighed.
"Hey."I said walking up to her.
She turned and smiled.
"Hi Selena.Ready for tonight?"Hermione asked.
I was about to reply when we saw Nico come backstage.
"Break a leg"He said to 'Mione.She smiled at him and nodded,walking out on stage.She sang I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift.Her voice was beautiful.After her was Bella.Then Bill.Then One Direction.And then,finally,me.I sang Never Say Never by Justin Bieber.When I was done Hermione came up to me.
"Great job Selena!"She said.I smiled.
"Thanks.You were good too."I answer.She beams at me.
Then,suddenly,we're all called on stage by the judges.As we stand there waiting for a desicion all I can think is,i'm not gonna make it.Look at all the great people who had been sent home!Justin...Luna...what's the difference between them and me?Hermione gives me a reassuring glance and I take in a deep breath.If I get through this elimination i'm homefree.
"You guys did great tonight.All of you.I want you guys to be proud of yourselves for making it this far."Tara started.
Niall took my hand.I reached over and took Katniss'.We were all holding hands.I closed my eyes and kept whispering "3 will not make it." in my head.
"The 3 who didn't make it are...Bill.Selena.And...Bridgit.I'm sorry guys.You're going home."Keshia told us.Tears came to my eyes.I had worked so hard to get here.Now I was out.I released Niall and Katniss' hands.They smiled sadly at me.Me,Bridgit and Bill climbed down the steps offstage.I silently wished good luck to Nico,Hermione,One Direction,Bella,Katniss and Peeta.Especially Hermione.I exchanged emotional good byes with Bill and Bridgit and then we departed and didn't look back.
