Finding Out
I laid strewn across my bed.My feet kicked at the thick air.I was so bored,and could you blame me?I never get to do anything here.After a few minutes,I decided to go look for something to do.Dad was downstairs with Amphitrite and Triton was out relaying messages.So,the whole second floor was free for me to explore...even dads office.Dads office was the last room on the floor.Dad won't let me go in there but i've always been curius and now that dad isn't in my way...I snuck my way down the hall.I pushed the door open slowly and closed it behind me.Dads office was really messy.Books laid everywhere (though secretly I don't think he read them.Athena told me he only reads on occasion) and his desk was littered with paper.I started to skim through some of the books when a voice scared me out of my mind.I turned,confused.An Iris Message was shining on the other side of the room.A boy,about the same age as me,was staring at me."Hello."I said.He looked startled like he just noticed me,then confused.
"Hi...Who are you?"He asked.I sat in front of the Iris Message.
"My names Jamie Silver.You?"I answered.
"I'm Percy.Why are you at my dads palace?"The boy said.I gaped.A son of Poseidon?I was jumping from joy inside!A person who was just like me?Imagine how excited I was.
"I'm a daughter of Poseidon."I told him.His eyes widened a bit.
"Y-you're a daughter of Poseidon?But how can this be?"He asked.I shrugged.
"...Well,you should join us.At Camp Half-Blood."He suggested.
I froze."N-no.Percy,I don't think-"
Just then dad walked in.I turned slowly.He looked confused,then angry.
"Dad I-"I started.But he shook his head.Percy looked away.
"Jamie.Go to your room.I'll send Triton to get you when i'm done.Me and Percy have to talk."He said.I hung my head and trudged out of the room.
