Good-byes-Jamies POV

I was in the Justice Building.Ella had already come with Hunter and those were the only two I needed to say good bye to.Finnick would be with me 'til the very end.I slowly stood as a guard came in.Me and the boy tribute clambered up on the train where I was met by Finnick.He pulled me through a couple doors and turned to me."Finnick.I'm not ready for this.I can't do this."I frantically explained.Finnicks eyes dropped to the ground."How were you picked?You were only 4 slips in that big ball of slips..."Finnick asked and I wish I knew the answer.When we were close to the Capitol,Finnick turned to Mags and us."I want to be her mentor."Finnick told Mags.Mags nodded and pulled the boy out of the room to get him ready for when they arrive.I sink down into a chair."Jamie everything will turn out fine."Finnick said as he sits beside me."Finnick...I can't do this!I've never felt so...scared in my life!Not even during my time wandering the streets."I tell him.Finnick sighs."I promise i'll do my best to keep you alive.No matter what."He tells me."What if-"I start but he cuts me off."There is no such thing as 'What if'."Finnick tells me.And I believe him.
