It is just something different about people. It is a choice in life. There really is no "why" just a "should i" or something like that. I mean being gay is not being rude. Those people are exactly the same as everyone else (vegans, blind people, deaf people, girly people, jews, etc). So I think no one should be asking "Why". I mean do people ask "Why are people Jewish?". That would be rude. I am not trying to be rude, just saying what I think.

If you mean literally because it's natural. In the animal kingdom animals don't care what gender their love is. We being animals a lot smarter than any other animal live in a society where it is "morally" wrong. But who is to say what is wrong and what isn't wrong? Only humans have the power to think its wrong. In my opinion I don't care who loves who. Not my business lol

Was the Bible written by God? No. Did God ever say "If you love another of the same gender, it's a sin?" I don't recall that. My mother used to always tell me that God gave me (and all her other children) to her. That God made me who I am today. So if someone is homosexual God most likely made them that way.

Science still doesn't have a definite answer but there are theories: sociological theories say that it's how a person is raised, biological say it's based on DNA or hormones or chemicals in the brain, cognitive says people learn...there's more but I can't remember them all from the top of my head.
Bottom line is people are born gay same as how people are born left or right handed. Some people like guys, others like girls, others hate carrots, others can't get enough of carrots. While one person finds men attractive both physically and romantically another person will not ever be attracted to them that way, and it's an odd and potentially scarring experience for whoever doesn't find men attractive (or women). There's really very little choice on what your sexual orientation or gender identity is.
Sidenote: gender and sex are completely different. Sex is what you are biologically born as (penis or vagina) while gender is what you feel as inside. That's whole other bag of worms with transgender issues but they are not gay. No one chooses to be transgendered either. (Transexual is after surgery and THAT is a choice).
Thing is, humans and other animals that experience homosexual behaviours are extremely complex so it's hard to say that one thing explains why a person is the way they are. Did you choose to be right handed or gay? No. Can you try to adjust to being left handed or straight? Yea but it'll be uncomfortable, hard, and you'll always feel like you should be doing things with your right hand.

very interesting. about the hand thing, im right handed but when i broke my elbow i had a cast from my hand to my shoulder. It was hard writing left handed.

I never really understood what homophobic Christians have against gay people. Why is it against gods' will? I mean, I can see how, for example, stealing is bad because it creates mistrust, but how are gay people 'evil'?
Exactly. It's not evil, it's just the way people think. When people judge people for being homosexual, it's exactly like judging people for liking a certain color or a certain animal.

If you want the scientific answer it's simply because their body chemicals are arranged differently. Their hormones are different than usual. Remember "love" is just a chemical reaction in your brain added with hormones. Now for the more emotional reason: they just could prefer their own gender to the other and find them more appealing. it's really just an opinion so there's no problem behind it. its racist to dislike them because it's either an opinion or a difference in hormones.
