No, in the Bible, God says he will someday destroy the Earth. The first time, He destroyed it with water (Noah and the ark) and he said next time, He will send fire to end the world.

The earth and sun have been slowly getting closer together for a long time. I don't think it's really the sun getting bigger. It's the illusion, the closer an object gets the bigger it seems, you may think the sun is getting bigger itself but in reality we're just getting closer.
Well eventually the sun will swallow up everything in a fiery death. If the human race hasn't destroyed itself by then (or been destroyed by something) then we probably would have moved to another planet or galaxy or something (i'm thinking about the movie Interstellar)
I'd say if the earth wasn't off-balanced by the human race, the sun would eventually expand and burn the earth. That will inevitably happen, but not for a very long time. But before hand, my best guess would be humans destroying resources, but it will still be long and hard to accomplish that.
I don't belive in global warming and it wont be that it can't drop out of orbit (i hope) there is always goid in the world so it cant human fault (palition) because if there is good they will take care of the world helping it become more clean i don't belive in aliens so not that i also don't belive in aliens or zombies so not that! So and i don't think an astroid is going to hit earth because there is no astroid big enough and strong enough to break earth into tiny little specks of dust! My nolege is all good ppl going to heaven and all bad ppl going to hell like jesuses second coming like christions belive jesus came to earth and so my church belives he will come again so ya that is my best answer!
Very nice opinions and explanations, but, how would you explain the polar ice caps melting because of the temperature caused by global warming, also we are moving closer to the sun slowly but surely, u know how wild animals can be tamed,but there's always that wildness in them, we can't control EVERYTHING.. And we've still only discovered less than 5% of the See More▼ ocean, and so we really don't know what's all out there, AND as we know, we all wanna live forever so there will be a time where scientists will try to create something, and bring the dead back and the earth can become over populated because no one will die. And lastly, it could happen.. Ok maybe not just 1 but a astroid shower, and will bring choas to the world..
