:D I found out what's wrong! I'm going back and editing really old quizzes (I just can't stand it when I have outdated info on a quiz or the quiz sucks, so I'm editing), and it wasn't working because of some glitch. It wouldn't save anything that would delete the results! So I unpublished it and now I can work and save. :)

O MY GOD!
O MY GOD!
One last, strangled cry squeezes out of me.
I'm going to die.
My face is wet. I'm not sure if it's more from blood or tears.
I close my eyes. This can't be happening. No. Please. Please no.
The ice grip releases my neck. I must be dead. I start crying, refusing to open my eyes. I vaguely hear fighting, but I'm not sure. Everything seems to echo around my head like it's a tin can.
Something warm softly brushes my cheek. "Calypso?"
I finally open my eyes. Leo is leaning over me. I sob.
"Leo! Yo...

Nightmare
The five nights seem to vanish in a flash.
I don't really know what's going to happen next. There's no way I'll fall in love with him. He must know that. He's not stupid.
At least, I don't think he is.
I shakily eat my soup. He said he'd be back. What's his plan? There's only one way off of the island, and only a crazy person would think that they could force that.
I don't even realize that he's here until I feel his breath on the back of my neck. I swirl and punch him in the face.
"Owww," he...

I shake my head. "I can't. To get off, you need the boat. It only appears when..."
He gives a dry laugh. "When you fall in love with me." He stops. "So?"
I cross my arms and start to back away, shaking my head. "I don't love you. I'm sorry."
He tilts his head as if in thought. "What was it you said Odysseus did?"
I shudder and take another step, not daring to run and not wanting to answer.
"Oh, that's right. He just waited it out." He stops and sighs. "I would really rather not wait very long...

WHAT. THE. HADES.
I have to get over this. I have to.
I'm still stuck here. Nothing's changed. I have to forget Leo.
If I don't, I will break.
He can't come back. He can't save me. No one can.
I'm stuck here for eternity. I just have to get over it.
I know that I can now. Because I will never fall in love with anyone the way I did Leo.
I take a deep breath and withhold a sob. I'm tired of crying.
I'm SO over this.

Leo - Part 5
After about two nights, we'd finished the machine-a-ma-thingy.
I dip my spoon into the soup, drag it to my mouth, swallow, repeat. Leo sits across from me, eating his own food. We're sitting on the beach, near the place my dining table used to rest.
Behind us, the supplies are carefully packed and ready to go.
"All we need now is a boat," I say quietly.
Leo nods. "I can start chopping wood into boards tomorrow. Few days, we'll have enough for a small hull."
"You've made a ship before," I reme...

I spend a whole day packing supplies for the boy's voyage. As soon as I'm done, I rush over to his forge to see if I can help with anything.
He looks up from a half-finished circuit board. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were anxious to get rid of me."
"That's just a bonus," I tease. I can tell he's examining my outfit. He'd asked about it recently. I'd found that his clothes were much more practical than that dress, so I'd made some for myself.
"So?"
"So... what?"
I nod towards t...

The next few days were average.
At times, I even forgot that he was on the island. The invisible servants sent him food and I would weave more clothes for him often. His name is Leo.
Then, one day, he started working. Smoke drifted through the trees, loud clangs of metal echoed through the whole island. I marched straight up to his makeshift forge.
"Smoke and fire. Clanging on metal all day long. You're scaring away the birds!"
"Oh, no, not the birds!" he replies sarcastically.
"What do you h...

I jab angrily at the dirt with my spade. I'm probably killing just as many vegetables as weeds, but I don't care at this point. I want this to be OVER. I just... I just want...
I don't even know.
I quietly curse Zeus in ancient Greek.
"I think you've punished that dirt enough."
I look up to see the boy. I frown at him and wipe a tear off of my cheek. "Just go away."
"You're crying," he says, his voice softer than I've heard it since I met him.
"None of your business," I mutter. "It's a big is...

I sit in my cave, cursing Zeus and every other god that I know of as I weave a new dress.
An explosion rattles over the Island. I peek outside to see a huge machine crashed where my dining table used to be. A boy with curly black hair and dark eyes runs around the wreckage.
I curse Zeus again. It hasn't been that long. He sends me a new boy already? The gods are even more cruel that I thought.
I run outside. "What are you DOING? You blew up my dining table!"
"Oh, I'm sorry," he says sarcastic...

Time. Why does it have to be so difficult? I think, and calculate, and count. Just when I think I've caught it, it slips away. I can't even count and calculate by nights and days -- as the island travels, time zones constantly change, leaving everything upside-down.
Jake's been here for who knows how long -- a lot longer than anyone else, that's for sure. His leg is healed.
Now he has to leave.
He emerges from my cave. I stir the fire, trying to do something useful.
I know that I'm going to f...

Again
I finish with the lillies, the jasmines, the poppies... As soon as I finish the patch, I sit down for a short break.
I am so sick of this. Soon after Percy left, I saw Hermes. At least, I think I did. Just a reflection of him, in the rock. He didn't say anything; I just got a glimpse of his smirk.
How could they? I have been stuck here for a millennia, tortured and broken again and again and again...
I notice that there are tears streaming down my face, but I make no effort to wipe them away....

The Story of Percy - Part 5
A long time later, I was still tending to the garden. I'd planted so many flowers over the years, it sometimes took days to tend to just a patch. Luckily, many of the plants grew just as well wild as docile.
I heard Percy's footsteps on the sand, and I turned to look at him.
"He ordered you to leave," I guessed.
"Well, not ordered. He gave me a choice."
I look up into his eyes, searching. Would he stay? If not, why'd he say that? "I promised I would not offer."
"Offer what?"
I hesitated. "For...

Dinner. Food that I'd barely touched.
I just didn't want it to happen again.
Percy was sitting across the low table, telling stories about Manhattan and his Camp Half-Blood and his friends. His friend Grover, a satyr, was especially hilarious.
"And as soon as I kicked the hacky-sack-slash-apple into the air, Grover snapped it right up in his mouth!"
I couldn't help it; I giggled. Our gazes collided, and I looked down again. I couldn't. I just couldn't do this again.
"There it is again," he sa...

Night. I tried to think of how long it's been since Percy came, but I couldn't. I wanted to throw something in frustration.
Percy suddenly emerged from the cave. He stares out at the skies.
"Percy, what do you see?"
He looked down at me. After a few seconds, he managed, "I was just looking at... Uh... I forgot."
I laughed a little. "Well, as long as you're up, you can help me plant these."
I retrieved my small spade and started digging. I handed him a small flower, and he stared at it stupidl...

I looked up from my flowers to a voice.
"Hermes," I kept the growl out of my voice. "Go away."
His reflection formed in the water. I wanted to smack that self-righteous grin right off of his face. "Calypso," he hummed. "It's a bad idea to order a god around."
I didn't answer. I just ripped another weed out of the flowerbed.
"I see you have another visitor," he said calmly, as if he were simply discussing the weather instead of my awful curse. "One problem -- he's needed back in the real world...
