Azriel, better known as Scratch, has a very mysterious and complicated past. While he seems to be a normal demon at first, it becomes apparent he is in fact the opposite. He is a oddity, and because of that demons and angels alike would hate him. And so, when he was young (3 years old in his standards), a small group of powerful demons hurt him and twisted his powers into a more tameable nature. This way, he can act without the influence of his magic. But it came with a cost.
Scratch is weaker then most demons, only able to cast evasive powers. Both his physical strength and his magical one is that of a lesser demon. His sister, on the other hand, is about as powerful as a normal demon. Perhaps even more then, due to her connection with Scratch.
When demon twins are born, they are given equal powers, and tend to be even more powerful around eachother. But that is not the case with Scratch and Scar, as you shall see in her character info.
Azriel loves reading, and he researches as much as he can in his free time. He was Alexs minion, his executioner, the one who would help capture their enemies only to have them killed. Scratch never liked hurting people, especially a dying race such as the angels, and so when Ash came into play he found his chance to escape. He became a traitor to the crown, for his old group got their orders directly from the Queen, and even now he is being hunted down by Scar and Alex, as retribution for betraying them
