It was dark they still weren’t back. Pj was standing next to me.“I’m going to go see if I can find them”
“Don’t go to far”, I said.
“I won’t Let the camp leave my sight”, she said.
An animal will probably end up getting her like they got the wolf. I imagined finding pj out there drained of blood, it made me smile but also grossed me out. We went to bed. I found it hard to sleep half of us were gone. Somehow I fell asleep.
In the morning pj or the other group wasn’t back. I was afraid maybe something had gotten them. We helped with the endless chores to pass time.
