Chapter 1

"No, no come back!" Rick chased after the red car on the hard ground of the road below him, he could not believe his eyes, he loved his humans, Thesa and Jon, he thought they loved him back... the car drove over a hill, he gave up all hopes of catching it, he heard a rumble behind him, and turned to face a truck coming right at him! Rick leapt out of the way, crashing into a cement sideline, thick red blood trickled his leg among his black and orange fur. He hauled himself off the road and into the park on the other side, he had no experience! How was he ever going to survive a day in this situation? Rick licked his wound clean of blood and started toward a trash bin with a intriguing smell, he pushed it over, a half eaten chicken leg fell out, he started chewing, a black boot stepped in front of him, he looked up, a human wearing a yellow vest stood above him, it had a red X mark on its chest, the human slammed a stick down on Rick, "SCRAM!!" It yelled, dropping the chicken, Rick ran, "lousy street rats!" He heard the man shout as he shot away.

Rick lousely dragged himself under a hollow oak tree, he flopped on his side, breathing heavily, just thinking of his old humans made him snarl, he would never trust humans again. He drousely opened his tired eyes, it was his first day, and he was already exhausted. A blurry shape moved along the grass, a scarred, brown tomcat with a rather angry expression was bounding towards him, he snarled at Rick, who shot up and was backing up against the tree, fur bristling and hackles raised, "who are you? This is my territory!" Shouted the Tom, "I-I'm sorry I-I didn't mean t-to cross your t-territory" Rick stuttered, crouching low against the trunk of the tree, "b-b-but!" Laughed the tomcat, a rather evil glare in his green eyes, "off my territory! Or I'll make you!" He unsheathed his steel-sharp claws and growled once more, Rick took no hesitation and ran for the hills.

Is a molly a she-cat or a type of breed?
reply
PrismIsLynx46
Its the scientific name for a she-cat, the Erin's thought that she-cat would be a better known word so they used it instead of molly
