Josh was still at work on the thruster. James was still at the radio. "F-Hawk, F-Hawk! This is X-Sapphire, I'm coming in to provide Close air support!"
"Sapphire! Thank F*ck I thought you had done down!" James told her.
"Pshhhhh, commmmme onnnnn!" She said cockily.
"That Sapphire?" Josh said through his mask mic.
"Yeah why?" James asked.
"Tell her she owes me £10 still!" Josh laughed.
"Sapphi-"
"I heard him!"
James looked to his left. "Sapphire, two FC's on my left"
"Got 'em!" Sapphire came out of nowhere, in her X-Sapphire. It's costume to her, it has four40mm laser cannons on the front, but no missile silos. But she didn't have to share it, and had the fastest ship this side of the SPK's. She came up from below us. The two FC's rushed us still. Sapphire shot right at them at high speed, firing her rapid fire cannons. The two ships never had a chance. "Do I still owe him?"
"SHIT!" Josh yelled as the panel went up in flames.
"I'll ask him later" James got up, taking a fire extinguisher with him. He ran over and sprayed it over the flames. "You alright mate?"
Josh got up from the top of the ship. "Yeah, I can't get us moving"
"It's alright, she won't go down now. Can you get the the strafe run thrusters working at 100%?"
"Ummmm, James. I got 9 different engineering training degrees under my belt. The f*ck do you think?"
"You ganna do it then?"
Josh, walked to the side of the ship. He tore off a panel on the ship. James went back to the cockpit and got in his seat. He looked at the small screen on his control panel. "Sapphire! Three FC's coming our way!"
"I see 'em!" Sapphire rushed over, immediately taking out one as it passed right.
"JOSH MOVE!" James yelled down the mic.
Josh looked up. "What?" Then the other two FC's started shooting at the F-Hawk. One of the shots hit near Josh. "ARGH!" He went flying off the ship.
"Sapphire! Get Josh he- ARGH!" Then three shots hit right in the cockpit.
"JAMES!" Sapphire yelled down the radio. "JAMES COME IN! JOSH YOU THERE?"
"DID YOU F*CKING SEE THAT?" Josh yelled.
"Yes Josh I know bu-"
"NO BUTS! THEY KILLED HIM!"
"JOSH GET YOUR ASS ON MY SHIP! We'll get them back for that...I promise you!"
Josh could just about hold in his true rage. He activated his mag gloves and attached to her ship. "We're all that's left aren't we? It's just the SPK royal"
"I'll get you debriefed on the ship, in the mean time lets get you patched up!" She started hovering to the Royal. The fight had just started.
