Secrets: Twisted Friendships

Secrets: Twisted Friendships

Evelynn Audrey Peterson had two best friends since 4th grade named Paisley and Pandora. Pandora was more stylish than the other two and always knew the fashion trends and when something was a fashion no. Paisley on the other hand was one to play lots of sports and to take a daily nap in class, she also loved pranking with Evelynn. Last but not least, Evelynn was the type of girl to dip her toe into all sort of things and see if she liked doing it. That's how she found her passion. Musical Theater.

Chapter 2.

Stalkerish Texts

The next morning I woke up to incredibly loud buzzing and a massive case of bed head. I picked my phone up and was about to throw it across the room into my closet when I realize it was Paisley calling me. I answered and groaned at her, "Why do you have to wake me up like this?" "I woke you up? Oh, oops! Anyways I called to let you know that we're coming to pick you up at 7:45, k?" She explained. I hung up soon after and didn't care what time it was knowing I'd probably put my clothes on backwards if I rushed. As I turned on the streaming water, I grabbed my towel and checked the clock cause my nerves kept shoving it in my face that I'm going to be late. So to give myself some extra time I threw some jeans and a silky shirt onto my bed and started brushing my teeth as I got in the shower. It may be disgusting to shower while brushing your teeth but I felt like I had no time to do it separately. I threw my toothbrush into the sink so I could wash my face and hair. By the time I had changed I had slipped on my necklace and applied minimal makeup. Hearing a honk outside, I grabbed my shoes and slid them on and threw my hair into a messy braid as I rushed down the stairs with my shoulder bag on and out the door towards my ride. Just as I finished winding my hair tie I hopped over the edge of the car into the back next to Paisley.

For lunch today I ditched my friends for my love of books right after I grabbed my pasta from the lunch line. Great food and great books make me a happy person. Last night I had stayed up late to finish the first book of my series and on the way to school, started the second. I slipped the first book into the library drop off and shared a smile with the librarian. "Done already with the first book I see." She commented. "You know me Ms. Paroo!" I replied as I turned to walk back to my seat. I plopped down in my seat and picked up the second of the mythological series, or at least I thought I did. I read the page I left myself on and was deeply confused when I read it so I looked at the cover and found it was the third book and not the second. I could've sworn I picked up the seco-- "Looking for this?" said a voice behind me. I turned to give Charlie a flat look, "If you mind, can you please stop stealing my book?" He was about to mark his page by dog-earring the corner when I made a large gasp of fear. He chuckled. I grabbed the book from him along with my stuff from the table and retreated to the far corner to eat and read in peace.
So much for that idea... Charlie proceeded to follow me and stared at me from the seat opposite of me. How did I know he sat down? He shoved my feet off of the chair. Rude. "Go bother some other girl, please. I'm busy reading. Also, I don't like being stared at." I told him plainly. He huffed and puffed, and literally blew at me with all his breath. "Sorry Wolfie, but you can't blow this house down." is all I get to say before I'm interrupted. "Charlie! There's the Charles I'm looking for." I looked around to see Typical Fiction walking towards us with a grin which falters at the sight of me. I roll my eyes and put my head down as he and the other three sit down at the table. "Hey Carter, this is... What'd you say your name was?" Charlie replied. "...... It's Audrey." I mumble my middle name hoping they would take the bait. And they surprisingly took it.
I sat up to look at the two unknown newbies expecting an answer to my next question, "What are you two called?" "I'm Frog, and he's Guts" said the one with adorable blonde curls. "Name's George, and that's Collin." George said with a bit of a British accent while pointing with his thumb at Collin. "Where's Fred? Did he die already?" I question George before bursting out in laughter. "Maybe you should say your actual first name, and not your middle name next time, Cesáire." Carter said amusedly. "But it sounds so girlish here!" His accent thicker than before. "Don't worry, I'll call you George. Other wise I'll have C sickness." I said with a grin, "I've got to go now, so see you guys later!" I gather my stuff and drop off my empty tray at the lunch room before realizing that those four were the ones staring at me in Math yesterday.

I get a buzz from an unknown number right as I walk into the parking lot towards Red's car.

You look quite beautiful today

I look around to see no one here but Red walking towards me with Paisley and Pandora on either side of him. Grinning, I called, "Dang! I see some hot models walking through this parking lot!" Pandora let out a wild of laughter as Paisley smirked; and I swear i saw something scatter in Red's eyes when they reached me.

Your friends aren't the only ones who are 'dang hot models' ;)

Who are you?! And why are you stalking me?!

I dropped my phone into my bag so I wouldn't have to deal with whoever it was. Red dropped me off last and saw the the bothered look on my face. "You ok? He asked. "Ya, ya, just distracted." I reply quietly as I slide over the edge of his two-door car. I wave goodbye as I enter my house to a catastrophe in the kitchen. There can only be one reason behind this. My mother is expecting company.
