Darcy

The guy caught me in his arms, but he wasn’t quick enough. I felt a sharp pain in my leg as the glass scraped it. The guy and his friends brought me over to the counter and laid me down. He examined my leg.
“It doesn’t look too bad” he said. “I’d better get you to my place though. My sister is good with this sort of stuff.”
“Thanks” I said, looking dreamily into his big brown eyes.
“Did you come here with anyone?” He asked.
“Yes. That girl over there and that guy, Laura and Leo, I came with them” I pointed.
“Oh yes, Leo and Laura. I remember them from my last gig at the night club across the road.”
“Wait you’re a DJ?” I asked.
“Yeah” he said smiling. This confused me. He only looked a little older than me, maybe 17.
“It is an actual underage night club just like this one. Most adults don’t even know it exists” he said, almost reading my mind.
“How old are you anyway?” he said. What was I meant to say? If I told him the truth would he turn me in?
“It’s ok. You don’t have to tell me. You could sue me for the glass breaking but I don’t think you would do that if it meant admitting that you’re underage” he said slyly. “How about this? You keep this accident under wraps and I’ll let you come back as much as you want. That’s after we redo the glass floor and make it a lot safer” he said looking down at my leg.
“Sounds good to me” I said smiling. Laura and Leo came running over to me, making sure to avoid the shattered glass.
“Are you alright?” Laura asked.
“Yes” I said, gesturing with my eyes to the cute guy who was still cleaning my leg.
“I see” she said.
The guy noticed Laura and Leo next to him.
“Oh hi guys” he said, barely looking up from my leg but when he did his eyes resting on my face. I hoped I wasn’t blushing. He seemed to be lost for words until his mind suddenly clicked back.
“I, I’m Darcy, by the way and this is Coby and Ryan. They’re my mates” he said. I could’ve sworn he was the one who was blushing.
“I’m Samantha” I said. “But sometimes people call me Sammy or Sam, I don’t mind.”
“So Darcy what are you going to do about Samantha’s leg?” Leo asked.
“I was thinking of taking her back to my house so my sister can see it” said Darcy.
Laura gave me a look that made me laugh. It was like a, aren’t you lucky, kind of look. I noticed one of the guys behind Darcy checking out Laura. I think it was Ryan. I was just about to change the subject but Ryan was already making his way over to Laura and she was definitely not annoyed by it so I just let Ryan get to know her. He seemed nice and I was hitting it off with Darcy so it would have been unfair of me to step in between him and Laura. I mean, what harm could he really do?
