Prologue: The GatheringIt is true that there has always been tension and mistrust between the forces of light and all that is good and darkness in all its evil. The events of the last few years have done nothing to change this, if not make the predicament worse. In fact its created the start of a war, one that will make a impact on the forces of good and evil now and for the future to come. It all started on 'The Gathering'. The day where a representative from both sides along with their own council would come to meet at a destined place. On this sacred day there was to be no fighting or conflict but on this particular day, everything changed...
I stifled a yawn as my father and the other representative prattled on about matters such as supposed theft. It was always like this,every.single.time. It was infuriating. To make things worse, I was forced to come to every single meeting, all 20 of them being the daughter of the current representative and next in line, not like its royalty though. I sighed mentally whilst blowing away a lock of hair from my eye I looked at those around me.Besides me on my left was my cousin, Ash though he was more of like a older brother to me. I looked at his head well more like at his ash grey hair. He must of caught my gaze because he looked down at me with his golden/amber eyes and just gave me a fanged smile before turning to face my father and the other leaving me with the back of his head and his feathery wings.
I looked to my right and saw a mass of bright colors. Ugh..Those goody two shoes, they make me sick. As I scanned the crowd of white and gold something caught my eye. I found myself looking at a boy about maybe 20 or so? I felt my heart skip a beat and growled quietly. Well now I know I have a dysfunctional organ. The boy had golden hair and warm blue eyes. That face though..I knew him from somewhere.Something suddenly clicked and I blinked,That was it! He was the son of that famous Archangel Jarred or something?. What was his name again?...Zephyr! That was it! He suddenly looked at me and I quickly averted my gaze back to my father. I could of sworn he smirked at me after..that little...
I pretended to listen as the representatives talked but in truth I was bored stiff. Being a angel meant that you basically had no freedom, what with having to act so caring, considerate and selfless all the time.It also didn't help that I was the son of Jarred as the council had higher expectations of me. I looked at Grace, my best friend who was also an angel. She had her brunette hair in a ponytail so you could see the golden streaks. Her forest green eyes were focused on the representatives. That was the only problem, she abided by the law way too much that it became quite annoying. I know its what we are supposed to do but still.I turned back to the two leaders when I felt as if someone was watching me.My gaze shifted to the other side and I noticed someone looking at me.
It was a girl about my age well she looked that way, since shes a demon she could be a thousand years old and still look only 20-ish. She had midnight black hair and beautiful crimson red eyes that seemed to stare into your very soul but what stood out the most was her demonic aura, it was near black, the worst and most evil of all auras which meant she must of been important. I had heard of rumors of the representative having a daughter. She must be it. What was her name? Thorn! That was it. She continued to stare at me. Was she checking me out? That made me chuckle quietly and I smirked back at her. Thorn turned around. Score 1 for Zephyr! Just then there was a flash of light and all h*ll broke loose
