me and my ghost

a true conversation

I wake up at midnight and groan in frustration. then i have and idea.  Ever since i was a little girl i have been able to hear voices of ghost or something, maybe we could talk, ya i really need sleep but i don't have anything else to do.
"hi" i say and i wait "hi" i say again after a while.
"hello young girl" i almost jump i turn to Amy.
"Amy was that you?" i ask but Amy continues snoring "who's there" i say into the darkness.
"I'm Bethanne, but you can call me Beth" the same voice says but this time the voice is soft as if it, she, doesn't want to scare me
"where are you?"
"i'm right in front of you but of course you can't see me"
"oh....."
"weird right! i'm just surprised you can hear me!" she says and i laugh
"wait, why can i hear you?"
"i don't know"
"well any chance you can hep me get back to sleep"
'um, no but maybe I'll talk with you tomorrow" i fall unto my pillow and fall asleep, not even thinking about how i had just talked to a ghost.
