An Irresistible Offer

The door slowly creaked open. A thin stream of light illuminated the dark   room. Click clack. A dark shape approached Fluttershy. She shrank back in terror. The creature smiled, its one tooth glinting menacingly. Fluttershy screeched, but suddenly a zipper appeared over her mouth. "Quiet down," a voice rasped, "I wont hurt you." Fluttershy gulped and the zipper dissapeared. "Wh-Who are you?" she whispered. The voice chuckled. "Do you really want to know who i am?" Fluttershy nodded meekly. The creature suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind her. Fluttershy stumbled back. The visitor leaned forward and whispered in her ear. "My name, is Discord." Fluttershy heard a snap, and suddenly the room was full of harsh, bright lights. She inspected her visitor and her pupils constricted. Nothing was symmetrical about him: he had two different horns and wings. His tail was a dark pink, and a lone tooth stuck out of his crooked jaws. "D-Discord?" Fluttershy repeated, trembling. "Yes, Discord. I have come because i have an offer that you might find... tempting." Fluttershy looked up at him, eyes glimmering with intrest. "W-What kind of offer?" Discord circled her several times, then settled down in front of her, intently looking at her. "I know why your here." Embarrassment flooded over Fluttershy. "You... do?" she mumbled. "I do Fluttershy," Discord replied. "And its nothing to be ashamed of. After all, its not your fault." He lifted Fluttershys head with his claw. "Its theirs." "No..." Fluttershy turned away. "Yes Fluttershy." Discord continued in a soothing tone. "Its their fault, and theirs alone." Fluttershy looked up at him, an echo of hope in her eyes. "Really?" "Yes," Discord repeated. He leaned towards her muzzle. "I can help you make them see their mistake." He leaned even closer and said in a voice just below a whisper, "I can help you... get revenge." Fluttershy flinched. Discord chuckled. "So?" he inquired. Fluttershy turned away, but then looked up at Discord, her expression hard. "Please," she breathed. "I'll do anything." "Anything?" Discord asked, looking quite amused. "Anything," Fluttershy repeated, smiling a wicked smile. Her eyes flashed bright red, then slowly faded.
