A Little Bit of...

A little bit of danger...

Finny heard someone yell and jumped again, then growled, she wanted to be alone. But then again she didn't want to die... Finny punched in a random direction expecting to hit nothing but she felt something as hard as a brick wall stop her fist "Ow!" She cried then felt a large hand on her shoulder, it felt wooden, like a tree branch "AH!" Finny screamed again making Dana jump "HEY! SCREAMY PERSON WHERE ARE YOU?!" Dana yelled but Finny's mouth had been covered by another branch-hand-thing "Mmph!" Finny yelped, she was picked up and hoisted into the top branches of a VERY tall tree (So tall that if she tried to jump she would break her legs)
There was still a thing covering her mouth (She saw it was actually a very woody vine) [that came out wrong] she could see a lot now though, she saw the thing that had made the woods so dark was a large black cloud, but she saw what looked almost like the tip of a tail peeking out from one side and an occasional spurt of flame coming from the other side of the cloud "Mph?!" Finny yelped when she saw the first bit of fire, she couldn't exactly do anything so she tried to get comfortable and timed the wait between each flame burst, it was about 2.3 seconds.

"Wait up!" Ari shouted a second after Dana ran off "Oh hiss." Ari said sourly as she realized she couldn't follow Dana "Oh come on, hey by the way what's your name?" Alexandra asked "Ari" Ari replied "Yours?" She asked, apparently distracted from Dana, Alexandra mentally fist-pumped "Alexandra" She replied "That's a nice name!" Ari said brightly "Thanks, yours isn't half-bad either" Alexandra said with a laugh "Thanks!" Ari said with a grin, then a brown tabby cat walked up behind Alexandra "Kitty!" Ari exclaimed and Alexandra turned around "Oh Roxy! I was actually getting a little worried about you!" Alexandra exclaimed and picked up the cat "Meow" Roxy said "Mew" Ari peeped "Oh you saw the neko? Roxy meet Ari, Ari meet Roxy, he's MY kitty!" Alexandra introduced Roxy "Nice to meet mew!" Ari said brightly "Meow meow" Roxy warned (That roughly translated to "You lay a paw on Owner and I will claw you") making Ari jump "O-okay" She said, Alexandra was thouroughly confused "Wha?" she asked "N-nothing Roxy was just s-saying hi" Ari lied (badly) Roxy "Meow!" Roxy exclaimed like he'd seen something in the woods "What is it Roxy?" Alexandra asked and Roxy jumped out of her arms and darted into the woods "Roxy!" Alexandra yelled "MOUSE!" Ari yelled and took off running in the same direction Roxy did "Oh great, two lost cats" Alexandra grumbled "Ari! Roxy! Come back!" Alexandra shouted
"MINE!" Ari shouted "MEOW!" Roxy shouted "NO, MINE!" Ari argued "O gawd what are they fighting about" Alexandra growled and ran toward the fighting, she saw Ari and Roxy fighting over a mouse "Seriously?!" Alexandra shouted making Ari jump and drop the mouse, Roxy walked back to Alexandra looking smug while holding the mouse in his teeth "I love cats but sometimes you annoy me beyond belief!" Alexandra exclaimed "B-but the mouse..." Ari mumbled and looked down, Roxy laid down and began to eat the mouse "There are always more mice" Alexandra assured Ari "I... Okay!" Ari said and went back to her usual sunny self

Dana kept running toward where she heard the scream and saw a treant pick up Finny "A, TREANT?!?!" Dana exclaimed "I thought they had all died or reverted back to trees!" Dana said sounding more like a mature (ish) 12 year old than her usual 8 year old temperament, then Dana shuddered and looked at the Treant, it was beginning to walk off, Dana turned into her kitten-form and followed it soundlessly (Thanks to her paws and small size)
The treant walked for what seemed like hours to Dana (But was only about 30 minutes)
And finally stopped, it put Finny in a small cage and took the branch off her mouth "Why the hell am I here?! What do you want with me?! LET ME OUT!" Then the treant changed it's mind and covered her mouth again

Brea had stood there rather unnoticed for a while before she laid back down and went to sleep, while she was sleeping another treant took her and brought her to the cages, she didn't fight back because she was asleep, she only woke up when she was put in the cage, she woke up because a stick was poking her in the ribs she yelped in pain and sat up, the cages were only tall enough for her to sit up hugging her knees and barely wide enough to lay down in with her legs half-out of the wooden bars (Almost like roots but not) then a dark presence approached (Like a literal presence, not even Dana who could see like it was noon with no clouds) Dana's entire tiny body shook with fear, then the presence disappeared...
