A little bit of magic...
Did I say disappeared? More like reformed into something else. It was a witch with dark hair, red eyes and dark red clothes. "Ah, more..." the witch said with a thick French accent "Délicieux pour mon chéri" she said in French (nobody could understand her but she meant "Delicious for my darling")Dana dodged a treant and hid "Oh, come on out little kitten. I know you're there." the witch said and Dana unwillingly slunk out from behind the tree. "There we go... That wasn't too hard. Now, tell me. Why were you following one of my dear arbre?" (arbre is tree in french)
The witch asked and Dana turned to her normal neko form "T-tell me why you had treants capture people first!" She said trying to sound brave but her voice was shaking like her hands. "Tsk tsk, I'm being kind by not killing you. I'd appreciate it if you repaid my kindness with information" The witch said and looked at Dana seriously "I-I wanted to know where you were taking Finny" Dana said quietly "Are you and Finny copains?"(friends in French)
The witch asked "Co... Whats?" Dana asked "Friends." The witch clarified disgustedly "Oh. You mean is Finny my yūjin?"(Friend/friends in Japanese) Dana asked "..." The witch said nothing and grimaced "No. Me and Finny are not yūjin." Dana said "I just don't appreciate treants taking innocent people." The witch laughed "Well mon chéri needs to eat. No?" She asked "What is... Mon chéri?" Dana asked "My darling Drake" The witch responded "Who is...?" Dana asked "My dragon of course" The witch said "Oh. WHAT?!" Dana exclaimed "I don't have time for this. Au revoir!" The witch said and disappeared
Rain was hiding in the river ever since the darkness fell. It's a very bad idea to swim blindly and she happened to like living. Then some large thing shook her river. Rain peeked her head out of the water, her bright blue hair and shiny orange fins contrasting with the murky water. Rain could barely make out the outline of a treant. Rain yelped and went back underwater, the treant must have seen her because it grabbed her and lifted her out of the water "Ahh!" She screamed and her tail split into legs. (That happens when she's out of the water)
Noah growled as something unidentified entered his domain. He might not be the most aggressive wolf in the forest but NOTHING was gonna enter HIS domain. It left quickly and Noah relaxed. Then a Treant came stomping through his territory carrying another unidentified thing! Noah was sick of things thinking they can just walk through HIS domain like it's nothing! "Hey! HEY! Get out of here! NOW!" He barked angrily. The treant ignored him. It was carrying an upset person Noah realized. He didn't really care, he just wanted them to get the HELL out of his space! Noah went up to the treant and tried to scratch it but like all trees it ignored him. The treant walked away but Noah decided to follow it and see where it was going.
Dana was still standing there when a third treant walked up carrying Rain, Dana also noticed a book in it's branches. The second Dana saw Noah she yelped, turned into her cat form and climbed a NOT MOVING tree. Noah seemed to be focusing mostly on the treant so Dana felt safe-ish. For the time being. As the treant lowered Rain into a cage the book fell out of it's branches. After the treant finished putting Rain in the cage it walked away.
