Hero from the start
A city, a small one, with a large black dome around it was under attack everyday. Even with all they had they couldn't win, not without those who stood out."Get out of there Sapphire!" One woman yelled to another. Before grabbing her and chucking her into a building. They fell in as a large monster with a large muscular tone and publish skin landed outside. They dropped their assault rifles and got up.
"Thanks Katie" Sapphire said after standing up and picking up her rifle. She removed her helmet so she could breathe right and reveled her short light blue hair. "It's bad today..."
"No shit..." Katie said remove her helmet too, showing long red hair.
"Why red? Why change it again? Ohhhhhhh" Sapphire gave a cheesy smile as she thought. "It's about him"
Katie blushed lightly and hid her face a second. "No...Yes but not in that way! I just think he's a bad ass"
"Look we all know Josh is cool but surely if the rumours are true then..." Sapphire shrugged.
"Don't talk like that...Please, he's my hero you know that" Katie told her. "Like JJ is to you"
"Good point" Sapphire heard a buzz after she said that and reached down to her leg. Taking what looked like a phone. "Lania! You're alive?"
"No this is her ghost...I saw you run into the building, go out the over side and I'll cover you!" Lania said, you could hear she was shooting. Sapphire and Katie nodded and ran to the back door, busting the door down. They looked both ways, seeing just mutants, large and larger! They saw one drop after taking a bullet to the head. They looked up and saw Lania with her large Sniper rifle, her Auburn hair blowing in the wind. Sapphire and Katie started running. But in about 5 seconds a large explosion happened right next to them, sending them flying. A jet flew over still dropping the bombs that started the explosion. Lania had rushed down screaming "We're on your side asshole!". Sapphire and Katie got up however looking around as Lania came over. She didn't have her rifle she now had a bow and arrow in hand. "You two okay?"
Katie turned placing back against sapphire's aiming her rifle. "No time to talk, they're EVERYWHERE!"
"You ladies need some help?" A male voice said from above.
"Josh!" Katie looked up beaming. Josh smiled and vanished into a blink of light. In a few seconds he appeared in front of Katie with his back to her, with a sword in hand. A second passed and 10 mutants fell in front of him. He disappeared again, appearing in front of Lania and Sapphire. And another 11 mutants soon fell. Josh removed his helmet and dropped it to the floor, showing off his spikey red hair. Josh turned and looked at the girls, seeing another 3 mutants on the way. Josh disappeared and reappeared in front of Katie. But the mutants suddenly stopped...Falling over soon after. A little blink of light appeared and out stepped a girl with short light blue hair, smiling. "Glitch!" Sapphire beamed. There wasn't much time for an intro as a huge 15 foot mutant came running down the street. But soon the ground started shaking, and splitting in one place. Soon out came a large beast man. Growing in size...He grew to 20 feet and let out a loud roar! Running at the large mutant.
"Sick 'im Gordon!" Josh yelled. And Gordon did just that, leaping and slashing the mutants head off with a large claws. Josh turned around and looked at the girls. "You need to leave! It's not safe for you lot here!"
"My squad can handle ourselves" Lania yelled back.
"I know! But right now EVERYONE is falling back!" Josh turned and started walking down the street towards the oncoming mutants. "Gordon you're with me. We're holding the street till everyone gets out! JJ GET THEM OUT OF HERE!"
JJ walked up the girls. "Come on!" She started running down the other way of the street. The girls soon followed.
