Selena---------
I sit up in this empty room. All I had was a mattress and a mirror. A mirror that looked the same as the last one.
Pure Ruby.
I sigh and I sat on the mattress. Waiting. Waiting for my master. All I had were two pairs of clothes.
That was all he gave me. I suppose I should use these things wisely.
And I did. Every single lonely day I respect the things he gives me. I respect them like they were ever so precious Diamonds.
Because they were all I had.
A knock is heard.
"Come in Sir." I say and hide my precious item.
"Selena. Today is the day for your first kill." Mephiles stares at me.
"Get up." I follow his commands.
Mephiles hands me a gun.
"Follow your instructions carefully Selena. Or less Freedom Time." I follow him outside holding the gun with shaking hands.
"Up there on the top of the building." I nod. Mephiles has powers. Lots of them. I still have to discover his other ones.
Mephiles flies up there. I run. No, I don't have super speed. I'm not that epic. I run up a flight of old red stairs.
My hands slip as I grab a handle bar. I planted my foot on the previous one and then my other one on it also. A grunt escapes from my throat as I grab the top of
the building. My hands are slippery when I'm grabbing something high. My left bare hand slips off. M eyes narrow. I reach ad reach again with my left hand.
No use. That means I'm most likely going to fall 13 feet down on concrete. Mephiles grabs my hand before I fall and pulls me up close to his chest.
Blush appears on my cheeks.
Mephiles pushes me.
I stumble and fall on my knees.
"Get up! Before someone sees!" He yells at me. I obey. My eyes narrow at the horrific scene.
A tan fox with short blonde hair is laying on the ground. Scared.
"Please! Please don't do this! I don't deserve to die!" she begs with tears falling down on her cheeks.
"Be quiet or you'll die shortly!" Mephiles slaps her.
Mephiles turns into something.
A monster.
His true form.
"Kill her." I stood there. Thinking.
"Selena! I said kill her!" I just had to obey. A gun raised in front of the prisoner's face. My dark eyes closed.
The trigger was pulled.
A gun dropped. I opened my eyes. She was dead.
I killed her. T-This isn't me! I drop to my knees. I bury my face into my hands. I'm a monster!
"Selena. Get up. Hurry." Mephiles grabbed my wrist. I pulled out of his grasp.
"No! Not yet!" I seen a glimpse of pink fur with brown hair. It was a girl for sure. She was walking towards the building. Mephiles grabbed my waist and flew high in
"Oh my god!"
"Jackie?!" a blue hedgehog called after the mobian.
"Sonic. You need to see this." The girl who I assumed was Jackie called after him.
Sonic

I climbed onto the building to where Jackie was. I knew what she was looking at.
Riley was murdered.
Whom Tails loved. She was dead. Riley and Jackie were good friends until she moved to the city. But Riley came back.
For Tails. I grabbed Jackie's hand and held it.
I hugged Jackie tightly and protectively.
"S-Sonic? What about Tails?" Jackie asks me.
I didn't answer.
Even I don't know what's going to happen to Tails.
"Jackie. Everything is going to be okay."
"No its not Sonic!"
I kiss her forehead and think of what to do next.
Selena

We return. I run into my empty room and collapse on the hard mattress.
Is that what happened to my family?
Did I kill them too?!
I ask myself that over and over until I think of what to do next.
I cry.
I should just end this horrific nightmare!
Then I grab my most precious item from under the mattress.
A toy that I can hug and squeeze. It was a blue hedgehog.
I squeeze it ever so tightly like a teddy bear. It was a nice toy after all. I had some loose change and dollar bills in my pocket. So, I went to a drug store and bought
this toy. My mother would say I'm lucky. She would say to treat items like they were everything to me. She was right.
This toy really did mean everything to me.
This toy was of a hero.
Sonic the hedgehog.
Sometimes I wonder if he really is a hero. I used to wonder that Sonic a "hero" was a lie. But I knew it wasn't. Mephiles hates him. Mephiles hates all good Mobians.
Does he hate me too?
I looked up and saw Mephiles staring at me. He wanted something from me. No, I'm not giving up my item.
"What do you want from me now?" I ask softly. He'll probably hit me. Well he never has hit me before.
"Nothing. Selena."
"What?"
He just stares at me. Those eyes. They scare me.
That's when I wake up. Hugging the toy.
"I need to get out.And I will." I say to myself.
