Chapter 2.

2

A shadow arrow was shot straight At Sonata. Sonata froze in fear, unable to dodge the arrow. It pierced through his skin, straight into him. He collapsed to the ground, blood pouring from the wound. He knew that this was it. His fate had been sealed. Suddenly, Sonata saw a light in the distance. Through the battlefield dust he saw the figure of a hen. She darted straight to him. It was Cana. "Sonata!!" She screamed in horror. "Sonata, what happened!? "I-I'm already gone", Sonata managed to say, his voice  barely a  whisper. "Don't waste your breath", Cana told him. "It's already over for me,my princess." "You are a divinity to me. I wish I would have been able to tell you how I felt before my time of fate. " Cana looked at the dying hero and whispered to him, "Sonata, my hero. You have opened the door to my life. You led me on the path to my great rule. To think that you are gone... Sonata?" Cana looked at the fallen hero. His cyan eyes had closed and his steady breath had stopped. Sonata was dead.

Cana tried to choke back her tears, but it was no use. The goddess began to cry, as the rooster who had led her on her journey to the state of Nirvana was gone. A few of her shimmering tears dropped onto the corpse. A cloud of mist, slowly taking the form of the warrior arose from his chest. A spirit. Cana recalled the words she had read on the day of meeting SonTa...
"A hero's blood, a goddess' tears, and battlefield dust."
She had cast a spell. The mist floated up into the heavens. Cana trudged to the other hen' s lair and went to tell the news...
"Guys, Sonata is... gone." Dagi gasped. "What!? Another trip to save the kingdom? When will he be back?"Cana sighed. That's the thing.... he won't. Sonata was killed during the battle earlier...
Dagi and Ara were shocked and sad. Their leader was dead. Both of them followed Cana to their rooms.

10 years later, a snow white goddess and a rust red hero stood in the graveyard and spoke. "THey will never be forgotten. Sonata, the hero of fate and Cana.... his divinity..."
