"Obi's gonna..he's..He's..He's gonna die!"

"Mr and Mrs Drake, may I bother you?" the zoo keeper asked the Drakes with a smile. "Of course sir, may we help you?" Indie's parents  turned round and shook the man's hand, "Yes. You may not know me, but I'm Brendan Syphilis, I run the zoo. I couldn't help but notice your daughter's relationship with our turtle," the Drakes were exchanging strange looks to each other as the polite man talked, "and well, I'd like your daughter, if she could, to help out with the turtle." Indie's mother managed an uneasy smile, "Oh, well, that's a lovely thing to ask but-" "I'd love to! Looking after Obi? That would be cool!" Indie was there, listening to it all, "What are you doing here Indie? We were having an adult conversation with Mr Syphilis." "I wanted some ice cream so I came over to ask you for some money, but you were talking to this guy, so I heard everything he said."
"Okay, honey," said her mother in a sweet voice, "I don't like the fact of you being here, nursing a turtle that's going to die soon, maybe when you're older, huh?" She had realized her mistake when she saw the tears swelling up in Indie's eyes, "He's..He's..Obi's gonna die!"
