H A T E At First Sight

H A T E At First Sight

Sophie has always been good with technology, and especially- GAMES. But when she actually beats a game she wasn't supposed to beat, things take a turn to the worst then to the best. But is it possible that her new archenemy can actually make Sophie get over her fear and soften her heart...? I mean, nobody has actually fallen in love in first sight, right? (*Note: There IS no way to beat Sonic.EXE, so don't think what Sophie does can actually beat the game.) ((This is what happens when I have a wifi withdrawal.))

Chapter 3.

No Way Am I Telling You!

"Sooooo....it's been about a week and I STILL haven't found out what you were scared of. Care to tell me?~"
Sophie was cooking sausages and pancakes in the kitchen and yelled out to him, "If you think I'm gonna tell you, you've completely mistaken me for the wrong bunny!!"
Sonic.EXE, waiting in the dining room, just pouted and yelled back, "Fine, I'll just have to ask your friends then, if you even have 'em..."
"I still don't tell my friends that!! And I DO have friends!! Unlike you, who just kills off your friends in sadistic ways!"
"Really now? Would it be an offense to you if I told you you are a friend?~"
"YES! VERY MUCH SO!" she yelled out as she then put the pancakes and sausages on a plate and gave it to him.
The doorbell rang, and in a bad time. Sophie didn't even bother to put away the apron and opened the door in a swift motion.
"WHAT IS IT?!"
It was...none other than Kitty. Sophie widened her eyes, practically ripped off the apron off of her, and scratched her head nervously.
"Oh!! Ehehe....Sorry about that!"
"o.O Sophie? You seem different...You almost never yell and rarely smile!! And anyway, what's up!! I was starting to get worried because you're not in your usual tree for a week now! And how was the game??" Kitty said as she was about to step into the house.
Sophie then blocked her from going any further, a nervous expression on her face.
"E-erm, no! Please don't come any further! There's an...imbecile who just happened to crash at my place and I don't want you to catch his germs. And that game character was hell on earth!!"
"o.O Sophie....you really changed...Did you meet a guy? :3"
"Whaat? No no no no no no no, I told you- a CERTAIN imbecile decided to crash at my place and I'm REALLY stressed out at the moment-"
"You mean me?" Sonic.EXE said as he came behind Sophie. "AND I am no imbecile, that's for sure."
Sophie punched him in the stomach, which made him pass out and with her foot, rolled his body away from Kitty's sight. "Oh, ehehe, don't mind him~ That's the imbecile I was talking about!"
"o.O But wasn't that the character of the ga-"
"NOPE! It's totally not!! Must've been your imagination! Anyways, I have to go-"
"Wait!! I have to tell you that I found out that the game was from your mo-"
Sophie closed the door before Kitty finished talking. Her...what? She leaned on the door and sighed, looking at where Sonic- WHERE THE [CENSORED] DID HE GO?!
"You know, these sausages are really good, ya know!" Sonic.EXE yelled from the dining room.
I swear....He's driving me up the freaking wall...
"Oh what- can't take a compliment?~"
"You know what, fudge it." Sophie grumbled as she grabbed her apron, walked her way towards her bedroom, and plopped on it.
After a few seconds she did so, she heard footsteps coming from behind her and Sonic.EXE crouched down next to her.
"Hey! I really am grateful, ya know...!" he said with a playful smile.
"Riiiight....Doesn't seem like it- considering how much I'm tired today..." she grumbled, her head face down on her bed.
"Hey, lighten up a bit, will ya?" Sonic.EXE said with a pout. "I kinda want to see you smile, since apparently you're mostly cold and grouchy all the time..."
"Can't help it if I'm raised like that and a certain someone keeps putting pressure on me, you know..." she said half-slurred as she started to doze off into an afternoon nap.
Sonic.EXE tilted his head as she then fell asleep peacefully. He wondered what will make her smile. Before he decided to leave the room however, she heard her mumble in her sleep, "...that doesn't mean I don't like you though..." He gently smiled, wondering what she was dreaming. He got up and walked to the living room, laying on the couch and thinking what will make a grouch like her smile. After a few hours or so, the doorbell rang. He jumped up from the couch and opened the door to see a male bunny.
"Oh hello! I-I'm Sophie'e dad! Say, are you...that Sonic.EXE guy...?"
That's it! Maybe Sophie'll smile when she sees her dad!
"Yeah, that's me! Come on in! Lemme wake up Sophie first!"
Once he closed the door behind him, the blue blur then went up to Sophie.
"Hey! Hey! Sophie! Someone came to see you!"
Sophie slowly opened her eyes, squinting up at him.
"Who.....who is it...?"
"It's someone you know very well!!"
Sophie's dad leaned on the doorway, a sly grin etched on his face.
"Why hello...my darling daughter~"
And for the very first time, Sonic.EXE has seen such an expression on Sophie's face.
Not happiness, but fear.
