The First meet
Ziggy let her paws carry her to the forest where the Wilds lived, her paws were a little sore. But from last night, she knew she had to find Striker.Slowly, Ziggy put her paws in the fresh mud of the forest. Ziggy padded cautiously further into the tree-full forest, and shivered in fear. "Ziggy! Get a hold of yourself, your brave! Not a scardy- cat!" Ziggy meowed to herself.
Indeed she was, Ziggy had a lion's courage and a tiger's challenge. Ziggy was brave in the most scary situations; she knew it would always help. Taking a deep breath, she stepped further into the forest.
After a while of traveling in the forest, her paws grew sore. "OWWW!" Ziggy groaned, she sat down, licking paws. Sighing, Ziggy stepped up.
"Nona?" a squeak came from the shadows. Ziggy whirled around towards the shadow, suddenly a panther kit stepped out. "Nona! Nona!" the panther cried. "Nona?" Ziggy looked at the panther quizzically. "Nona, no where!" the kit slumped down, and then finally noticed Ziggy.
He yowled, and scooted away. "NONA!" he cried louder and louder. "Hello? I'm Ziggy!" Ziggy tried to interact with it, but it was no use. "NONA! NONA! NONA!" the panther yowled. "SHUSH!" Ziggy yowled louder, the panther stopped.
"Ziggy?" he asked. "Yes! Ziggy is me" Ziggy bounced up and down. "Ziggy be friends with Shadow?" Shadow asked. "Yes, Ziggy will be your friend" Ziggy gasped, would they really be friends?
"Shadow! What are you doing here?" Striker rushed out, and sniffed the kit. "Nona!" Shadow rubbed against him, licking Striker's paws. "Your Nona?" Ziggy looked at Striker, Nona sounded like a baby name. "Yes I am, in panther Nona means Striker" Striker growled, he obviously didn't want her here.
"Buttercup! I'm back" Ziggy called as she slipped through the cat door, "I have a lot to tell you!". "Hello Ziggy! Tell on" Buttercup was laid out on the couch, she looked very tired. "Well, I went to the forest today" Ziggy started, "And I met a panther kit". "YOU WENT TO THE FOREST?! THAT'S NO PLACE FOR KITTENS" Buttercup jumped up and started licking Ziggy. "BUTTERCUP! Calm down, he was always meowing 'Nona" Ziggy meowed on, "Striker came and told me the kit's name was Shadow, and meowed that Nona meant 'Striker'". "Hmm, never do that again" scolded Buttercup.
"But he asked me if I wanted to be a Wild" Ziggy smiled, "I'm going at Sundown". "You'll say no right?" Buttercup managed a smile. "No!" Ziggy sighed, "Buttercup, I'll be fine". "My little kitten, where has your worry gone?" Buttercup murmured to herself, and added to Ziggy, "Fine". Ziggy nodded, and slipped back through the cat door.
As she headed away, she heard Buttercup's faint cries.
