Welcome To The Wild

Leaves crunched under Ziggy's paws, the forest shined with the Setting Sun. At each step, she breathed in the air that would surround her for the rest of her life. Her paws had gotten tough, but still had squish to them.
"Ah, your here" Striker stepped forward from out of the shadows, "I brought the Wilds here". Out after him many (Big) Cats stepped out, including; a cheetah, lion, and a small cat. Slowly, after them a few dogs stepped out.
"Hello!" Ziggy greeted them, "I want to be a Wild". "Striker, she's just a kitten! Like Shadow" the lion growled. "So? I'm mature, brave, and loyal" Ziggy snarled, the lion blinked at her. "I take it back, she'll be perfect" the lion meowed, "hello, I'm Fire-Set". "Nice to meet you Fire-Set" Ziggy smiled at the lion. "I'm Eel" the cheetah coughed, "this here, is Espri". Eel pointed his ears at the small cat. "Yes, I'm Espri caretaker of Shadow" the small cat meowed, for a smaller size he had a deep voice. "I am Wind" a shaggy, brown dog padded up to Ziggy, "the other dogs are Bone and Spike". Ziggy turned her gaze to two dogs, one white, one black.
"Ok, but Where's Shadow?" Ziggy looked around, panic rising up in her. "Nona!" Shadow padded up to Striker, and rubbed against him. "He's, right here." growled Striker. "Ziggy!" Shadow bounced towards her, Ziggy let him lick her ears.
"Shadow, quiet" Espri called to the kit, Shadow padded quietly to his caretaker.
"Now we can begin, Ziggy step up" Striker meowed, and Ziggy padded to him. "I call us all here today, to welcome a new Wild" he called to the cats below, "Please welcome Ziggy, our newest Wild". "Before this meeting ends, I must give Ziggy her wild name" Striker looked at the star on her chest, "From now on, and forever, you'll be know as Star". "WELCOME STAR, GO STAR" cheers rose from the Wilds, each one welcoming and cheery.
Star looked at Striker, who didn't meow any cheers, but merely mumbled to himself. Star shook her head in disapproval, and proudly let the crowd feast their eyes on her. More cheers rose, then the fame stopped. "Come on Wilds! To camp" Striker commanded as he headed into the thicker part of the forest. Star followed everyone, and felt excitement rush through her.
"Hey!" Fire-Set padded down to her, "I think you'll need this, Good luck". "Fire-Set don't forget about else" Eel whispered to the lion. Fire-Set nodded, grateful for the reminder. "Oh, and also" Fire-Set smiled, "Welcome to the Wild".
Star Smiled, and thought of what this life would bring.
