Rue and Prim, Short story 1

PRIMROSE E.

There he was, kissing another girl. How could he do this to me? I thought she was going to tell him. I wonder who the lucky girl is. The girl pushed him and backed away. I could hear their conversation. "Did I do something wrong? Don't you like me? Um, this is embarrassing." Kyle shyly said. The girl spoke. "I'm sorry but I don't like you! When I said a girl liked you, I didn't mean me!" Wait a second, that was Rue's voice but she would never do that to me. I looked and there she was. Rue was standing there, wiping her lips. "How could you?" I shouted. Rue looked back. Kyle stood there looking confused. I couldn't take it anymore so I ran. "Prim, wait! It's not what you think! He kissed me!" Rue shouted. I didn't care who kissed who! To think that they kissed, it hurts me! I started crying and then bumped into Gale. "What's wrong Prim?" he asked me. I couldn't answer so I ran and then he followed me. I ran as fast as I could but caught me. "Leave me alone Gale!" "What's wrong?" "Nothing! Now leave me!" He then hugged me. "Let it out Prim." I then cried in his arms, I cried and cried. He kissed me on my head and looked at me. "Love problems?" I nodded. "Well, know that I will always love you Prim. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be alright!" I trembled. "No, you don't understand! He kissed, kissed..." As I was about to finish my sentence, Rue arrived. So I left Gale and ran away.
