Entry #3
Today we saw a giant green woman with her arm up in the air and a square objet in her other hand. Her hair looked spiky and she was on an island. We ‘docked’ at a different island and up close I saw she had a torch and a book, and a crown. All of us walked off the ship in a line, together. Maman said that the woman was called Madame Liberté and that France had given her to America as a gift. I don’t understand why she was called that, or why she was a gift, but I’ll find that out later. She also said this island was named Ellis.
