Part 1: If you hate rants and babbling and stuff please ignore: I just wanted somewhere to post my feelings rn
So to start things off, I’m queer. Sexuality is a complicated thing for me right now, but all I know I’m definitely NOT straight.
My mum, she’s a homophobe. She is disgusted by the thought of homosexuals. She’s even said once before that she believes someone attracted by the same gender should be locked up or in a mental hospital. I lost a lot of respect for my mum See More that day.
A little while ago, I thought if, what if I told her I was queer? Would she still hate the communtiy even though her own daughter is apart of it? So we got onto the topic once more, and I think she realised what I was getting to because she said to me, “Amy, if you were a lesbian, I wouldn’t disown you, but I would be very disappointed in you.”
That hurt. A lot.
Because if this, my older brother is also a homophobe. And my mums boyfriend. The only person I know in my family who isn’t is my cousin. I came out to her a mount joe so ago and we’re still really close and she cared enough to ask me what the term ‘queer’ actually meant in detail. I love my cousin.
I came out to my friends a little before. They’re trying to be supportive which is amazing. My best friend just was like ‘mkay, so what’s that mean? Oh cool. So what do you want for lunch later?’ Another friend just was shocked as she didn’t expect it, but didn’t mind none the less. One friend actually told me that it might be a phase, which hurt because i know it’s not. But they were supportive all the same. I love my friends.
But something still felt off. I was talking with my Mum and the topic was once again brought up. She spoke how homosexuals were gross and how she saw two girls holding hands. Soon I was in the house on my own. I decided to make some soup to cheer me up. We all have off moments, today was just one of those moments. I poured in the soup, only to realise there was too much soup and it all didn’t fit in the bowl. I started to cry.
It’s stupid to cry over something like that and I knew it. I also knew that wasn’t the reason I was crying, but I couldn’t put my finger on what I was actually crying about. Hours later, I still felt horrible so I went to my last source; Youtube.
Recently I have been watching a YouTube, Thomas Sanders, because I think he is amazing and funny and my freaking role model. I’m watching his videos, and though they added to background noise which was comforting, I still felt wrong. I watched around 5ish videos before his Pride video came on.
Thomas is openly gay on his channel, which is very admirable. He was a lot of friend who are also very open with their sexuality and identity. I remember watching this video load and telling myself not to watch it. It’s just going to upset me more that these people are able to be so open about themselves and I can’t. But I let the video play.

*clears throat* I would like to start this page off by introducing a head cannon I came up with yesterday: Easter/Aprilfools
For their prank, Virgil, Roman, Patton and Logan decide to act like each other to fool Thomas throughout the day. So Roman acts like Virgil, Virgil acts like Roman, Logan acts like Patton and Patton acts like Logan. However, because it’s also Easter (andbecauseitsfreakingRoman), Roman decides that the last person to break character will have all the chocolate See More eggs for a prize. The others agree and the prank begin.
Thomas is confused to find Virgil to be walking around belting out Disney songs.
He is shocked to see Patton reading Sherlock Holmes and taking notes.
He is bamboozled to stumble upon Roman applying dark eyeshadow under his eyes.
He did a double take to watch Logan baking cookies and cakes.
All in all, Thomas is sHOOK. Best part? When he asks the sides about it, they all pretended they don’t know what he’s on about.
When the clock stuck 12, (as all pranks end at 12) the sides all relaxed back into their usual selves, complaining to the other how exhausting the day was, all expect Patton. When Virgil questioned why, Patton showed them his watch, it read 11. The sides all looked at their watches that read 12. Patton soon explained that he set all the clocks forward an hour so the other sides would break character before him and therefore he would get all the eggs. A plan only someone as clever as Logan could achieve. Why had the sides uestioned why Patton had wanted to be Logan so badly? Patton skipped off into the next room holding the Easter eggs singing “April fools~” While the sides are sHOOK.
But he then puts on a movie and shares the chocolate with everyone because he is sweet and pure and lovely and the best daddio ever.
