Why did you read The Hunger Games?

I was walking i a mall after buying some new shoes (i rarely go in malls though) and I past by a book store, naturally I was instantly drawn by the smell and all the Ideas and stories that were pouring out, waiting to be freed. Then my dad pulled me aside and pointed to the hunger games books on display. "Heres some books, Its about a girl, who uses a bow and arrows and she leads a revolution! I'll buy it for you!" literally 20 seconds later i had a brand new series to read, not knowing about the kids killing kids! And I was in grade 3!

Best. Day. Ever!

Well I actually hadn’t heard about it but I liked the movies so naturally I had to read the books because I mean come on people I HAD to! I had a hard time reading them tho bc I like a lot of action and it got a little slow... great book, but I feel like it could’ve been executed better

I read it when I was in year... 4? I think it was. And I already was forced into watching the first movie, so I thought the series would be cool. No, I am not a person who watches movies then reads the books.

So a few years ago the school I was at had a book fair. I didn't go, so my mom said I should just get a book on my kindle. I BEGGED for her to let me read The Hunger Games, and have loved it since the moment I read the first chapter.
